« on: December 28, 2010, 04:36:14 pm »You *can* put breastplate over chainmail. However, you will need to have your dwarves wear chainmail first (and wait till they actually put it on) before assigning them the breastplate.
I've never had a problem with getting my military to wear both a chainmail shirt and a breastplate. Try listing the chainmail shirt before the breastplate in your uniform load-out.
