There might be air pressure but i really doubt there would be a vacuum in the disks. Having took many disks apart im sure theres not a vacuum inside them. Cant swear on it though.

Weaponry is like that, very little material used but high price. I mean who woulden't pay 6k for an exceptional iron disk? there is such accuracy and sharpness in them that allow you to cut the goblins exactly and neatly in the size of your choice.

« on: February 12, 2011, 02:47:27 pm »I recall reading that windows xp was troublesome to run from an usb (I looked into this a while ago, too), but am not sure as to the details, as I lost interest in the matter and did not keep any links..Haven't had any problems with xp on usb but maybe it depends on the version? Xp is starting to age but the only problem is that it's getting harder and harder to find drivers on the net. I have tried Vista and Seven but they changed most of the control panel so it's a pain to manage and too much eye candy.
Anyway, I dont think you'll get better performance out of Xp than of 7 starter. XP is... very outdated.

You can install xp from a usb memory or you can run it from usb. You would just need a .iso file of the xp cd and a program to build it on a usb memory. I could look it up if you need help with it.

You should be able to move the platters from one hard drive to another but you would need a cleanroom setup to avoid dust damaging them. Not something your every day geek does so might be better to leave it to experts.

You sack the cities to teach them a lesson. And you get a good amount of cash 
But yes when the pop gets high enough you can raise the taxation to keep from over populating but in a short campagin with venice that wont probably be necesary.

ALWAYS keep taxation at low, the growth bonus gives you ALOT of cash in the long run.

Rome and Medieval 2 are the best total wars. Empires just had something missing and annoying map.
Uniting Russia under the Novgorods are always a fun challenge but you have to win a short campagin to unlock them. Also there are epic mods to that game.

Operation Flashpoint 1 not 2 is challenging on the veteran difficulty where enemies sniper you with pistol from several hundred meters away. The team system is also great.
