OpenXcom has an inbuilt screenshot function. Just press F12 and look in the piratez mod folder.

Or you could use the usual breaking and entering tools like pickaxes. Mining Lasers are great for that once you have them.
Check the towers, there are usually 1-2 enemies in each.

Only the easiest and the hardest difficulties change the attributes of the enemies. The others only change the amount, and while the battles are easier with fewer enemies that also means less loot and fewer prisoners. So my vote is 2nd or 3rd difficulty (where 1st is the hardest).

Votes:
1:Women are superior, because while I'd use the male touch for a new game myself, for a playthrough like this, on ironman, I think we shouldn't make this more difficult.
2: Green or Gold (haven't really played either)
3: Never got to do anything with her yet, that path wasn't there when last I got so far and in my current game I made little progress for a long time.

I am against a custom base start, making everything perfect is boring. If someone want he can always burn money to move buildings.
A new release shouldn't be a problem, I have been playing my current game for about a year, always upgrading to the latest version. And Dioxine doesn't really seem to have a schedule.

One thing I would propose is to aggressivly purchase brainers until we are at capacity. Because one day there will be factions knocking at our doors regularly, and if we haven't teched up by then it will be very hard.

Europe/North Africa allows the Airbus to get to most places apart from Australia/New Zealand and the tip of South America.
So I propose an island in the mediterranean or some place in Black March. Both also cover mostly land, which is better than a hideout in the carribean.

I'm in, btw.

I think in certain layouts there is a treasure chest or two at the bottom, and gems are one of the rarest ressources in the game.
It has been some time since I robbed a mansion (haven't researched it yet in my current playthrough because it is tedious) but I always just killed/captured everyone. Which is probably what made it tedious, now that I think about it.

Thanks.

That could also be interpreted as:  you'll miss less often.

Did they actually say that they eliminate misses alltogether? Maybe they just tone it down.

Judging by the damage dealt by our great weapon master fighter last time, that might be a good idea, actually. :D
I dealt out a lot more with my barbarian. GWM+reckless is pretty great.

Try starting as a mage. :D
ThAC0 of 20, so against AC10 opponents it is a 50/50 Chance. And who has AC10?

While not missing 9/10 it is not far off either unless you want to rest after casting your 2 spells.

Quote from: PCGamer article:
"You miss a lot in D&D—if the dice are bad, you miss," he says. "That doesn't work well in a videogame. If I do that, you're going to review it and say it's shit."

God forbid a dice rolling game features random outcomes from rolling dice. The horror of it all.

Yeah man bad reviews, like those other DnD games that stayed true to the system and ended up as the basic foundation for all PC RPG'S everywhere.

Just like that. We don't want to repeat that.

Still look forward to it, but sure as hell am not buying it at launch. Was burned on the last few DnD games.

To be fair: the combat system was not the games strongest suit.  PnP and CRPGs play differently, so I'm happy if they adjust the rules for that.
I wonder how they will implement rules such as only three stronger magical items per character, as you have to attune to them. And the power curve in DnD 5 is more of a gentle rise, which is good for game balance but might not translate very well into a CRPG.

Male ubers are brutes. Stronger than even the gals, but they lack the brains.

@Iduno: I tend to try and get my brainer numbers up asap. I worry about paying them later and it works out, because they generate quite it bit of money in the form of score by themselves. So 3 Brainers is first month stuff, if I am lucky I'll have four at the end. Around May - June I have all the brainers I can stuff in the lab.

Savvy Girls are just civilians.

Canny Gals on the other hand eat zombies and are insane.

Haven't necro pirates myself, I guess because I was way into the midgame when they were introduced.
