I get to thinking about mount and blade: warband.it COULD be, but it might also get really irritating having swords that dull and helmets that break.
Why? Because the weapons have all these modifiers. Chipped, rusted, cracked, shortened, tempered, heavy, thick ... a whole world of customization and individuality to the different items.
Wouldn't it be nice? Tell the weaponsmith to "shorten that halberd" or "sharpen that sword" .. "repair that helmet"
I have a notepad full of stuff like that... I don't use paper sometimes if I have my laptop open next to my desktop but often I don't so I just use a notepad.i bet that'd make a good, if confusing read.
300-page college ruled, I've had it for a few years and am 3/4 through it, full of DF notes over the years.

A bug? In real life, do people butcher dead animals for eating? I hope not *sick*
Slight derail: Poindexterity, why wooden shields? I figured metal would be better. Is there some quirk of game mechanics that makes wooden shields the best option?
