Magical research is a normal research action, as magical libraries tend to not be as searchable as the Internet. At least, that's how I've always been asked to roll it.

...hm. Cross-referencing your sheet, you took 2 hours extra for six hours on your first action, but you took five hours extra on your second action. I haven't gotten the confirmation that reading a book takes one hour, so I'm assuming it's three for now, which means you're two hours extra.
So, don't automatically do everything without listing the times. We still need them for the quick check-through.
