Granted, you have an unwashed plate with a live hagfish on it.

I wish I knew how to play any given instrument well at any time.

Dude... I totally agree with that. Wow, I never realised...
You totally agree with what?
I think it's the Zora-face post.

General Discussion / Re: MSPA Homestuck: It's at 40% now!!!
« on: September 23, 2011, 08:10:52 pm »
Hey, if I start reading Problem Sleuth will that erase my Homestuck save?
I highly doubt that as they are two completely different comics. As in, the urls show them as different things, much in the same way that Youtube videos do (/watch?v=______, MSPA is /?s=*&p=PPPPPP, where * is the advenutre and PPPPPP is the page number of that adventure). Also the saves are different urls entirely, as are the saves due to this number thing.
Even without all this technical justification, I'd say yes. If you're not sure, open them both up, save in PS, got to HS and load it, then go to PS and load that and see if they can coexist peacefully.

Granted-- a few hours later, Californians will find out that people going on about how it'll eventually fall into the ocean were actually right.

I wish this grain of sand would GTFO of my eye. It's been three days; this is ridiculous.

Granted, you have super-senses! As in you're super sensitive. To everything.
Every small breeze causes an itch that you swear spans an entire inch beneath the surface of your skin. Seeing light from your peripheral vision is basically the same as looking at the sun. You can smell your own mucus, and any other scent you've smelled that day that has stuck some of itself to said mucus.
You can taste everything in your mouth-- the leftover bits of food hidden beyond reach in the corners of the corners of your mouth, the minuscule bits of dust and debris that normally go unnoticed, any and all of the plaque upon your tongue, coating your teeth, and in your throat, and any blood that shows up in there, whether it be from biting the side of your mouth or brushing, for the rest of the week. Mouthwash feels like the icy equivalent of lava. Flossing is like rubbing razor wire between your teeth.
Enjoy your new super-senses, and may God forbid you get an eyelash in your eye.

I wish that awkward silences didn't exist.

Granted. The world is being destroyed in a massive conflict between two factions of giant robots, and it's all your fault!

I wish i had a nice little bay to watch, like Peewee's avatar
Granted, you were a part of the cast of the show Baywatch. Unfortunately, the show has already ended, so your bay has been withdrawn from your possession due to your inability to pay for it on your own without the financial aid of the people you were previously working under for the show, as they have no reason to keep paying for your expensive tastes in islands for your viewing pleasure.

I wish for a twig. Not a twig with a bug on it or that can kill people who look at it, just an ordinary, innocuous twig.

In which I realize my mancrush for Michael Guy Bowman.
The end was the best part, especially with the siren in the background.
You can't say one part was the best. ...Actually, there was one best part-- the best part started one minute in and ended about one and a half minutes later.

The way they drew the shading on her dress makes it look like she's wearing nothing but an apron.
Actually, I think that's shading for her skin. There's no outline for that to be an underdress to make the "apron" just be decorative. There's a lot of back and leg showing, but think about all that hair-- I imagine being fully clothed while having your back covered by think insulation would not be comfortable in the slightest; not even in the winter. I can vouch for that being true with the back of my neck.

Also, what's with those alternate trolls? What are they based on?
I'm putting my bet on Matryoshkastuck.
Go ahead, search Google for images. In fact, there are at least three different results that are the same as what Duke posted. And it was posted 1 day ago. Man this stuff travels fast.

Prince of Metal.

What? This does not have to do anything with my personality.
Dude. You're the PRINCE of METAL. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

No but seriously, aside from the generically cool title, I don't see how anyone could have metal correlate to their life unless they have some sort of metalworking hobby or like steampunk or are really good with technology or have a synthetic limb or have a lot of piercings or...
My only idea is that if it doesn't work, MAKE it work. I made mine work by slightly obtuse means, but that's just how I think.
As for being a prince, maybe it could work if you have any siblings and you're the oldest or... actually, that's all I've got off the top of my head.

Yeah well I may just end up doing summa dat fic regardless. Maybe even right now.
Equius Zahhak / Eridan Ampora
Music

GET TO IT.

Fun fact: On my very first visit to that page today (the above result was from my second visit), what was displayed was
Aradia Megido / Doc Scratch
Yoga.
So much potential for so much creepy.

I want to write fanfiction, and am allegedly a good writer or something, but every time I put my imaginary pen to paper I just can't make something dead-serious. I'll try, though. When are we having that bay 12 mspa kink fic competition thing again?
The first one was officially official on April 11th 2011, so it's quite a way away; unless it's biannual, in which case it'd be in October '11.

If people actually wanted to do it again, I'd be glad to hand out prompts, not that it has to be me. But it would make me feel nice and important.
If only there were some kind of survey or census with which to find out people's opinions on the idea... oh well.

Thief of death? That has gotta be something epic.
Is it just me or does that feel like it's describing using... like, if double negatives were two-dimensional shapes, then the way that above chunk of text describes things would be a 3-dimensional shape.
...Does the above metaphor make sense to anyone other than me?

how'm I a knight
Knights protect.
I protect in the sense that I don't take chances with things (or at least not as often as people seem to try to make me); I protect the status/condition/quality that a situation/relationship is. I guess that works?
I am a knight with the world's lamest knighting technique.

Thief of Earth.
I wonder how that would work. Would I steal topsoil?  ???
You are obviously a common peasant who steals produce from the crops of strangers just before harvest.
Or a dictator/king/ruler/leader/w/e who invades and conquers foreign lands far and wide.

Hello, fellow title clone.
But there are lots of other rhymes, which I did not bother to verify the existence(s) of. Or at least not for the other months; normally I would do that without a second thought but I have stuff to do. Not much, but stuff nonetheless. But yeah, the rhyming gimmick isn't too surprising rare surprisingly rare.

The Sight part of Knight of Sight kinda works for me in a way being that I am relatively handicapped without my glasses, but I'm not sure what to think of being a Knight because I am one of the most complaisant individuals I know. Unless It's like some sort of pun on that trait of mine since what one would think of as a "Knight" is the opposite of me (or at least that particular trait), but is homonymous with Night which is appropriate for me. And then the Sight thing would make more sense because my lowercase-s sight actually sucks. Unless the object is less than three inches away from my eyes, in which case my glasses actually impair my/its visibility.
