Charity's Journal 28th Limestone 98
Seems that we had a jail break today. No it's not who you might expect. It was Ms. Pillomino. She used her knowledge of masonry to find a weak point in the cell and make a break for it. Although she didn't try to flee the town. Just ran to the bar for a drink, before Khenal showed up and took her back. She did not resist. Seemed she really really wanted a drink.(The Nurse Kil had given every pony water except for Pillomino, and then ran off to get a drink herself and then went on break, and then went to a party. With the Doctor busy treating injuries from the last ambush, and Pillomino very dehydrated, and nopony else bringing water, death was a possibility, so I deconstructed her chain, and when that was done, she ran for the drink stockpile, and got one before Khenal dragged her back to one of the new cells.)
5th Sandstone 98
A horrible creature has been spotted in the deep. The militia and guards are working together to try and lure it into an ambush.
10th Sandstone 98
The beast has so far proven elusive. In other news, I think the confinement is getting to Pillomino. She tried to throw a party in her cell. It didn't go well.
Charity's Journal 18th Sandstone 98
The beast of the the below, we thought we had it trapped on the southern portion of the caverns, until it swam around our troops and ambushed a fisherpegasus named Udar Gleamedgrass, it grabbed him and tried to drag him into the water, but he scrambled away, though it relieved him of his shoe, which then used to beat him more, until the militia arrived and he was able to escape. Thought the creature likewise escaped into the lake. The militia is stationed by the water, hoping it will resurface.

The creature was spotted heading north away form the fortress, and so, we are relaxing security to allow the troops a break, as they have been on high alert for the past ten days non-stop.

Cryptson has been parading around in a fine suit of Bismuth Bronze and Steel Armour, and carrying a exceptional Steel Pick. He hasn't left me or the kids alone since the incident. It's sweet, and I'm happy to keep him close, but he can be kind of smothering, although, I'd rather him stay to close, than too far until this assassin is caught.
