Hello!
My game crashes for apparently no reason when I want to check my second squad when having my first one on screen. It also crashes when I try to check any squad from the review assets screen. And it also crashes when I try to wait a day. The only fix I can do is firing my only writer for the liberal guardian (who has 200 something juice and is the only member of the second squad).

Can someone help me? Can someone dissolve the squads without anything crashing? Can someone figure out why the [heck] this [nice] bug happens?

Edit: I'm using wine if that helps. Following the crash, lots of numbers appear, and the window closes itself before I can read them.

« on: May 31, 2011, 05:06:32 am »That said, the ideals of the PESLP are opposed to how the LCS generally acts. The LCS actually does a lot of stuff that the Arch-Conservatives want to do. There's:
Killing people for being Conservative. (Free Speech)
"Enlightenment". (Human Rights)
Being armed to the teeth. (Gun Laws)
Prostitution. (Women's Rights [Sometimes])
Stealing and publishing people's secrets. (Privacy Rights)
Working their members to the bone. (Labor Laws)
Depends on who plays the game, and some plain don't count.
Killing people for being conservative? What about pacifist runs?
Enlightenment? Possible to go through the game without it.
Being armed to the teeth? Pacifist/Melee run (melee weapons are still legal at L+ gun control laxs.)
Prostitution? You live without it without any problems.
Stealing and publishing
Working their members to the bone? I always thought LCS members have decent living conditions. If not, they would lose juice.

Most of the times, I don't bother with codenames. But one recent game had me based my LCS codenames from the Phoenix Army (the good guys for a tabletop RPG I am creating). So we got the founder, Phoenix Commander. The one with First aid skill, Phoenix field medic... Well, you got the idea.

A better question is how we know what our heat levels are. Does some Conservative just show up saying "Hey, we suspect you _____much."?
My guess is that members of the LCS are smart enough to know they are being wanted by every policeman in the city. They have an idea of the relative safety of their little outpost. They don't know how close the police is from finding them, but they know how wanted they are, and how well they are hidden. This is represented by heat.

About the interface...
Holding S should stop making skip turns when an encounter is triggered. Or maybe you could make a command "wait until encounter".
It's annoying to hold S and getting killed because some guy shot you.

The rest are sleeper agents. It's basically founder + sleepers, no abductions.
Since I already have lots of sleeper judges (i.e. all my recruitement slots), the meetings are for farming persuasion to go to the radio/news stations.
Yeah, I will try to go without sleepers next time. The Liberal Guardian will be my friend. Or maybe the Liberal Nudist Challenge: No clothing. Period.

How about setting a default activity in the [A]ctivete liberal screen for each liberal? Then, when you hit the default key, and each liberals does his default action. And also a way to assign tasks in bulk (this one would be easy: allow to select multiples liberals in the [A]ctivation screen, then selecting one activity for all of them)?

The USA have gone Arch Conservative. Death Squads execute people for heinous crimes such as vandalism, disturbing the peace, and loitering. Firemen suppress unacceptable speech with flamethrowers. Corporations can access any personal information at a whim. No one have the courage to fight agianst this. Except me. The Lone Ninja.
I, The Lone Warrior, will go on the ground, and fight the Arch Conservative governement. I will be alone ont the field. My lovers and followers will act from the shadows to provide me support (sleeper agents). I will not abduct anyone, and will only harm those assholes from the CCS. I will get one of these idiots to reveal me informations during a date, and then break off.
