Little UI issue: The Liberal Agenda Screen:

Conservatives are supposed to be right wing. Liberals are supposed to be left wing. Why are conservative law levels to the left, and liberals to the right?

Thanks!

My favorite type of rebel leader?
Smartest (Intelligence 10) gal (yes, I only play females LCS leader) on Earth, really good (Charisma 8 ) with the guys and the other chicks (Yes, she is a bisexual polyamorous slut, and proud of it!), decent agility (7) for ninjaing everywhere.
I also usually start with 2 security and Driving (a pain in the ass to raise otherwise), and the Bug car (to get early training in driving skill).

By the way:

Flag burning will get you a criminal record at L law (when flag burning is legal), and the previous criminal record for flag burning doesn't goes away at this level, only at L+ flag burning law.
Prompting the help page for selling portrait sketches prompts the one for street music instead.
The help page for selling T-Shirts still says that it costs 4$ a day for supplies. Wasn't that cost removed a few versions ago?

Minor suggestions:
I hate discarding an almost full magazine because one of my liberals ran out of ammo and I hit [R]eload. Could the magazine be kept, and when going back to safehouse, all partly spend magazines combined into full mags?
Shouldn't we be able to unload our weapons? Getting bored to get 60+ loaded assault rifles from the army base and having to buy magazines (No, I won't say clips.) just to get everyone stuffed with 9 mags for their hungry M-16 while I have enough ammo for it... Just already loaded.

Thanks again! The game is still great by the way!

Hello!

First aid and dodge teaching don't work. I trained my founder up to 3 dodge (angering then dodging random conservatives), and had 2 first aid (answer D to the last question), and then make her learn teaching (1 point in that skill), then made her teach urban warfare. And then no recruit got an increase in dodge, nor first aid (And I made sure all of them were at the same safehouse).

Thank you!

Hello!

Simple suggestion: Could someone add a way for Liberal Hackers to vandalise conservapedia?

And a bug report: I burnt a flag by mistake, and was wanted by the police for flag burning. Problem is, laws on flag burning were Liberal, as in, flag burning was legal at the time.
And shouldn't charges go away when laws make them unapplicable (As in, a Liberal burns 200 flags, and when flag burning gets legal, he is cleared of his flag burning counts, since it's no longer illegal)?
Thank you!

Curses / Special characters
« on: May 10, 2011, 03:12:02 pm »
Hello!

I was wondering: how about meeting special characters in the game, who would be some shout outs to video games? Some would have some unusual skills or attribute repartition, but nothing game breaking.
Ex:
A plumber called Mario. Another called Luigi. (Mario Bros)
A liberal programmer with high agility and some weapon skill, but low Charisma (Cybernetic enhancements are ugly) called The Hacker (System Shock).
A doctor with some sword skill and a Daisho (Dr Mc Ninja)
A Gang member called Carl Jonhson, wanted for several counts of Grand Theft Auto, an agent called Mike Toreno and a hippie called The Truth (Gran Theft Auto San Andreas).
A Taxi driver called Daniel, with an higher than average driving skill (From a french movie called Taxi (In fact, there are 4 Taxi movies)).

What do you think about that?

Hello!

I have a request to make:

How about choosing yourself which one of your sleeper lawyers will represent you?
I mean, I sometimes had a lawyer with 7 base Intelligence and Charisme, and 6 law skill and persuasion, and another with 10 base Int and 9 base Charisma, and 4 law and persuasion skill. I'd like to be able to get the second one on minor cases, since he will eventualy get stronger than the first one, without having the first one to join the active LCS.

Thank you!

Well, my last slogan comes from the Random Number God: he named my founder Rebecca Chambers.

So my slogan is "S.T.A.R.S. fighting conservative zombies!"

Hello! Half the soldiers I recruited have a low intelligence. So I was wondering: Is the stereotype that soldiers are morons exists in the US (we have that stereotype in France), or was it just the RNG playing with me?
Thanks!

Hello! I found another bug:

Teaching dodging doesn't works the way it is supposed to. Got my founder with 2 swords and 2 dodge teach urban warfare. Swords raised, but not dodge.

Again, thanks maintaining the game. Since I'm not good with programming, the only thing I can do is reporting bugs.

I managed to got one who did NOT rat me out!

Brainwashed him before anyone noticed he was missing. Left him with 1 wisdom and 5 heart. Got caught for loitering around the police station. (He got a not guilty verdict. I love my lawyer.)

Hello! I just downloaded the new version, and I already found some bugs.

Bug 1: Prompting help screen for selling art promps the one for playing street music instead.
Bug 2: another interface bug, this time with teaching. Infiltration is second, and indicated by the number 2. Urban warfare is third and indicated by the number 3. Hitting 2 selects Urban Warfare, hitting 3 selects infiltration.

Anyway, thanks for the new version, Fox. If I find other bugs, I'll report them. It's the least I can do to contribute to this great game!

Failure (If a male): "I did notice that my snake isn't solid anymore."

Isn't this answer a shout out to Metal Gear Solid (Solid Snake)?

I loved this pickup line!

Hello!

When on a trial, we should be able to choose which one of our sleeper lawyer will represent us, solving what I call the Magikarp lawyer (awesome stats, low skill, so more skilled lawyers but with lower stats end up representing you. Would not be a problem, except that in the long run, the less skilled but more intelligent lawyer has a higher skill cap, and so could be better, if we could put him to training.). They should still roll against their effectiveness, but choosing ourselves between those who pass it would be great IMO.

Thanks!

Do you have a sleeper lawyer? He doesn't shows up here. Actually, get 3 or 4 of them. It will be more likely that they show up (Each lawyer has a chance equal to his effectiveness to show up (and lawyers will ALWAYS show up if they lover is on trial.), and then, the best of them is choosen to represent you.). And by the way, try enlightening hanging judges. At least two or three. Same rule for showing up (except for the lover part), and can reduce your sentence if you end up guilty (And I guess they mess with the prosecution, but that's just wild guess). That way, you won't get death sentences for loitering.

Edit: Anyone here? I asked a few questions before...
