Any love for Finland?
-Went to war with the Third Reich and the USSR -- TWICE. Still remained independent.
-Only country that has paid all the war reparations from WWII.
-http://This stuff.
-Simo Häyhä

-Allied with Hitler.

FAIL :P

And the only ones to do that and not get conquered.

Seriously though, there is a lot of debate among Finnish historians on wether or not Finland allied with Germany or if they just were at war with a common foe. For the record, I think that yes, Finland did ally with Germany.

Tomb is already royal. Would be difficult to make it better: adamantine coffin, adamantine statues, adamantine floor...

As for the room, I could try.

Oh, hey! Guys, apparently people are running for the borders in Sweden, Germany, France, the U.K., AND CANADA!

Who'da thunk it.

Spoiler: BY THE WAY (click to show/hide)

I have no patience for this bullshit, someone else can handle the rest.
CANADA? FUCK CANADA.

LETS NUKE THE SYRUP-CONSUMING MOOSE-MONGERS.

Canada is like France. Surprisingly badass.
No. No its not.

Okay. You're an idiot.

Canada:
-Canadian troops in WW2 were far more feared than Americans or anyone else, by the Germans.
-Canadians also composed one of the smallest groups in the war.
-This means that half as many Canadians made a impression twice as good.

France:
-Fucking. Napoleon.
-Hundred years war.
-WW2, French Resistance.
-They're badass. Very badass. Just they like cheese. And wine.

By the way - also a social democracy.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO
Oliolli think he is superior!
The beauty of humanity is that if so much as an outside looking entity tries to even imply it is superior to humanity, humanity will devote all of its resources into destroying it. Enjoy your time while it lasts mantises.

Oioioioioioioioioioioioioioioio

"So you're superior to us? Let's see a radioactive crater tell us it's superior to us!"

We are the mantis men. We will assimilate all inferior races. Resistance is futile. lololololololo
And that is why I am not scared.

There's another type of leader that leads well as well, and that is the selfish man who's self extends to his countrymen.

This doesn't neccessarily mean good things for neighboring countries, though. Empiricism, ahoy!
That's what's known as a hivemind, child.

Tyranids? What?
Think about it. The best civilizations are those which don't have any impetus to argue!

So, it's settled then? We're going to genetically engineer the human race to be Tyranids?
I'd figure the Borg would also be an acceptable alternative.
Anyone for the Cyberman-solution?

Does Erica have a lot of friends?

About 6 friends, (one or two dead), a husband, one long-term aquaintance.

Who has the best skill in fighting in the fortress and who has the best equipment?

The best fighters are approximately adept at fighting. Leather armor and steel shields. No real weapon skills in the militia, but Erica is a legandary miner and has a pick.

263
May end up in a tantrum spiral. Erica goes insane, her friends become sad, and the rest shall be history.

Dastotamud Overseer's log
2nd of Galena, 110

Dastot Rurastrovod has been killed by the berserk yak bull. I have no idea why or how he was near the trade depot, only that he is now dead. I had hoped it would wander into the traps near the entrance, but it hasn't - now I've had the soldiers move in to kill it.

Well, now one of the militia (Erib Adagkulet) is also dead. I'm pulling everyone out, Vehudur is currently near the bull, ready to be used as bait for the traps. May Ezum and Osram have mercy on his soul.

Vehudur got out safely, but now even Al†th Lokumenol has died. Idiot got the idea to get a drink from the depot while the yak bull was still there. Well, everything in the depot is now forbidden. Vucar Zaludkol will now work as a nice bait.

As it turns out, the traps had no effect on the yak from hell. It now has three of our militia members fighting against it, even though I told them to get away from it.

3rd of Galena, 110

Well, after a long fight the bull fell unconcious right on top of a weapon trap. The trap had time to strike the bull five times before it died.

So in the end, three of ours dead, the elven merchants dead, the nightmare yak bull dead and none of the living are wounded.

Oh yeah, Erica is also throwing a tantrum again.

4th of Galena, 110

I can't help but feel responsible for this mess, so I have decided to replace the dead militia member.

...the damn countess is still not eating enough...

...and she doesn't sleep in her room. She prefers whichever spot she falls asleep on...

As if that wasn't enough, Possum is also unhappy. I blame the sun for that.

9th of Galena, 110

The engraver/miner who was in the accident a few months ago? Dead. Infection. He wasn't even diagnosed yet.

The child? Still alive and dragging himself about. Won't last long though, he's dehydrated and no one takes care of him...

12th of Galena, 110

The child is dead. Infection again. We are down to 33 inhabitants.

14th of Galena, 110

Human caravan. Not much we need, but I reall don't want another berserk animal around here.

21st of Galena, 110

Well, that sucks. Erica, in her tantrum, just broke down the lever that controlles the outer floodgates of the FTW-system. I'll have that rebuilt ASAP.

1st of Limestone, 110

Autumn has come, and I fear for the future. How much more can the fortress take? How much longer until the countess snaps? And when are we getting some new migrants?

265
Isn't the trade depot open to the exterior, through those fortifications?

Yes, it is. Would need a lot of pumping. It gets filled with 7/7 water when the world is flooded.

The cistern is 4/7 full now, by the way.

266
The curse generates spontaneous events in real life to try and keep you from playing it.

It has to be a coincidence that my turn just happened to start only slightly before a relatively important math test, after which I have my first Finnish course in half a year which basically means three essays to be written every two days. Also, it has nothing to do with my friend just getting the idea that he could lend me 4 series of Doctor Who on DVDs at the same time...

Dastotamud Overseer's log
Malachite, 110

The journal is, once again, empty for the most part. Some locations of new traps have been jotted down, as well as a remark about how nice "lawn decorations" the site has, in reference to the two forgotten beast skeletons on the front lawn. The worried notes about the countess continue, and there is also a note about the dead being silent again.

One notable entry exists, however.

21st of Malachite, 110
The elven merchants we "forgot" to let out of the trade depot have finally gone mad. One yak has gone berserk, the rest are mad or depressed.

In other, less happy news, the countess is finally snapping. She is throwing a tanrum. It didn't last, of course, she didn't have time to do anything bad.

267
No miltä vaikuttaa? Puhua satunnaisia kieliä ja olla ymmärtämättä mitään.

Actually, fuck all that, let's just design an advanced AI supercomputer and do whatever it says.

I'd be down for the computer thing. I for one welcome our cold, unfeeling mechanical overlord.

Just remember to not accept any cake it offers. Other than that, I'm all for it.

We are teaching it Asimov's three four 0th and 1st laws of robotics... right?

Oliolli walked around the fortress, sifting through the aftermath of the party. Oliolli just wouldn't stop talking in his regular cheery voice, annoying everyone he got close to. It appeared that only he and Roead were not hungover, or if someone else had also managed to avoid it, he hadn't met them yet.

I'm here, just that I've been busy with school again for a moment.

Dastotamud Overseer's log
Hematite, 110

The text under the heading of Hematite consists of little more than exquisite metaphors for the lack of events.

What little is written, however, consists of worried remarks about the countess not eating, footnotes to "remember to smash up cousac's tomb, as Erica has complained about it being too good" and fearful notes written in small text about a ghost following the writer.
