You know, once Mitch is ready with his turn I'll just DL the save then and there. Last time there was the same amount of people between us and all of them skipped.

Hugo is correct. High voltages would only weld the joints of the armor together, and carry the brunt of the charge away from the body.

Isn't that potentially better than immobilizing the enemy with magnets? Even after the power is cut, the enemy is still incapacitated.

588
And... it allows us to make some pretty kick ass defensive systems.  Our enemies like to wear iron and steel armor..........what happens if we switch on burried high intensity magnets? :D

Magnets? How about uninsulated electrical wires?

I always found it strangely satisfying to fill my vault full of gold bars in Evil Genius...
Of course then I had the 'other' vault with the world treasures... -twitch- okay I have to play this game again over the weekend.
The world treasures went into different rooms frequented by the minions inside the Inner Base. 1,000,000 dollar bill? Into the control room. The Eiffel Tower? Same. The invaluable persian rug? Into the middle of a high-traffic corridor.

Still, I'd spend my time watching those piles of gold bars grow, minute by minute. With an income of $24,000 per minute, I'd watch one pile for about 17 minutes, when it would stop growing. I'd be sad. Then I'd notice that they've started making another pile. I'd be happy, as I'd watch it grow again. [rinse & repeat]

Überloot? Pfft, boring to watch.

Girlinhat, you got kleptomania or something?

You say that as if it were a bad thing.

As if the previous dreams hadn't been odd enough, soon they had begun to include new limbs growing all around his body. It had been enough to wake Oliolli up. Hugo had disappeared, and in his place stood a tall man wearing a blue suit and carrying a briefcase.
"Good morning, Mr. Oliolli."
"It's morning?"
Oliolli looked in both directions down the hallway. Very little, if any light was visible. Still night.
"Not really. However, there is something--"
The man suddenly stopped speaking and looked to his left, down the empty hallway.
"I shall tell you later."
And with that, he started walking away quickly. As he disappeared around a corner, Oliolli noticed wierd wandering down the hall from the opposite direction.
"Out for a nighttime walk, then?"
"If you're looking for Hugo, he's probably in the hospital. If Eric, we can't help you. If something else, probably the same as with Eric."
"You know, I also feel like walking a bit. Mind if I join you?"

Oliolli slept through the night tightly, with strange dreams involving different types of creatures chopping off his limbs, only to have them grow back moments later.

He walked over to his workbench, pulled the top off the bottle of distilled labgrade ethanol, and downed the whole bottle.

Enjoy your hangover...

Stalker. Although it has no vehicles. But it nails the sense of isolation, and for a while, scarcity. Call of Pripyat adds the "spectacular" atmosphere that Shadows of Chernobyl lacks somewhat.

This.

The Oblivion Lost -mod adds vehicles.

Metro 2033.

And this.

Survival of the fittest/smartest

The ones who wall themselves into an enclosed space with food, drink, a still and farming capabilities get to pass their genes on.

Turns out that it isn't quite that easy to box the X-42 Giant Roboscorpion to death.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The dwarven kingdom will never be the same again if I let the secrets of modern high yeild explosives out of the bag....

I see so many ways this can go wrong... and so few reasons to not do this.

Oliolli wandered trough the fort's gates, quite drowsy by then. Still wondering about his four remaining limbs, he staggered to the hospital, only to find the door locked and Hugo leaning onto it, apparently asleep. Sitting down on the opposite side of the hall, he quickly fell asleep.

Searched DFFD for "Swordthunders", couldn't find any by Splint.

Seeing the amount of people skipping their turns, I better get ready to return to Swordthunders as well...
