DF Modding / Flying in Adventure Mode!

So deciding to spice up adventure mode a bit I wanted to make a Birdman race to replace the humans. All went well as far as body parts. Wings, beak and talons all got in there. Some code below, but my issue is that in adventure mode I can only seem to fly around in the city and no where else. In the wilderness, no dice. I think it may be some limitation in adventure mode :(

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Metalman race suggestions

After reading about custom races, I wanted to have some fun before the next release. I tried this code and created a new world, but everyone drops to the ground when the world creates. Don't understand a lot about the code, but its made from pieces of the dwarf race from the entity_default.txt and the elementman_iron from the creature_subterranean.txt. When wrestling, they have no commands yet still have body parts. Anyone more experienced out there?

DF Bug Reports / Flaming Dwarves

I recently made a fortress and made it to the lava flow. A miner started digging a channel right from the flow, and died after 3 channel pieces(I later found out from reading this should not be done, because the miner will have a mamga bath).

Later, a dwarf came to bury the dwarf who died, but what he carried through the hall was a smoke-trailing strobe-light corpse which followed with a cloud of smoke. As this fellow died, another would bury him with the same effect. Needless to say, all of my dwarfs suffered the same fate a driver would running his car in an enclosed garage.

Are dwarf corpses who die from lava supposed to do this?

DF Bug Reports / Colossus did more than kill dwarves....

Had a forest map on an untamed wilds scene, when a colossus came out to play and murdered a bunch of dwarves and the human caravan who happened to be there. Anyway, I got a serious lockup after the bodies started hitting the floor. Tried the save 3 times and same thing, but only after a lot of the population was dead. Maybe the game has a hard time with keeping track of the death.....

Anyone else notice this?
