If you tame them and keep them in their cage, eventually they'll go berserk, great for dealing with invaders or elves.

I don't know my dorf stats yet, but jogorhan would be willing to lead a squad of speardorfs as a last line of defense.

Thanks for the help everyone!
I tried all those ideas, nothing worked.  >:(

said screw it, copied the INIT.txt from my old .18 version and it worked! :D

the only difference of note was the .25 init had [FONT:curses_640x300.png]
and the .18 had  [FONT:curses_square_16x16.png]

not too worried about it though... got it working again. pastures, clay, bees and new animals here i come!

what does our stock of metal look like? we could pepper the road with weapon traps, or possibly cage traps. I say trap 'em, strip 'em, and use 'em for target practice! there are a LOT of crossbows and bolts out there... might not be a bad idea to train up a sizable militia of us commondorfs to use something, for when the unthinkable happens and they break through.

((also, could i get a look at my stats?))

what the heck, I want in too. I'd love to have a speardorf/armor or weaponsmith named Jogorhan. If there isn't room for both, I'll take a speardorf.

I've been meaning to try .25, but can't get past the resolution changes. I've tried vanilla, and both the tile sets for genesis. here's the problem

here's a save in .18:

And the same save in .25

Is there a way to fix this?
