Masterwork DF / Re: ☼Kobolds☼ - Everything Kobold Mode
« on: July 13, 2014, 12:44:01 am »
So I started a Kobold camp, everything was going good, I had around 15 adults and 35 children. I was attacked by a were-badger, and one of the children was bit. I made a bunch of bone pointy sticks and drafted every single adult into the military. I stationed everyone outside my base and the clouds of children came as well. In the ensuing battle around 4 of my Kobolds died, a bunch were injured/bitten, and we didn't even kill the original, and now everything is weird.

My ogre went crazy for a little bit and started attacking my kobolds

A "Giant honey badger cub boar child" happened, I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before, it started attacking my kobolds. It's still here even after the full moon and interrupting my Kobolds, it's a pet of one of my Kobolds, and it's listed as tame

Everyone's interrupting each other, and no ones insane

My kobolds are vanishing into thin air

I have no idea what's going on or why this is happening

Ooooh sorry, forgot about this, sorry If I took a little while to reply, but I'm here now! I'll get right to work and will probably have my first update some time soon!

3
Mind if I upload a save with far more targets?

If it's a smaller or pocket world sure you can. But we'll have to wait to use it until something from it's chosen as a target.

4
Something I don't like about this save is that it lets you attack friendlies, even if you don't want to.

I keep hitting my allies with just normal movement, it is making it too hard to continue.

Unless we play a later version, where it is not as bad.

Really? I'm not getting any of these problems on my save. if I accidently (A)im for one I'll get asked if I really want to. I'll try downloading the save and see if your right

Yeah, I'm itching in excitement for my turn  ;D

Very, VERY nice kzel. You did a great job with the short story and abundance of screenshots. Making a small fortress was clever, and I like clever. However, you forgot to designate a creature from legends mode for the next target.

7
I hope you don't mind but.....

I killed Neyi, Pukematch, the Hydra

Nice, very nice, I was ASSIGNED to kill a cave dragon by the lord of some fortress, never ended up doing it. By the way, If nobody manages to kill him soon (Weaklings  :P) I'm going to do a little overhaul of the game, possibly with a new save (When I tried to generate a world to my liking in 31.21 DF crashed when It got to the history, 31.18 was the first one that I tried before that, but I might try again on 31.19)

EDIT: Wait a minute, how in the world did you end up with those FIFTEEN bogeyman kills! I can't even get 1!

Okay, gathered about 8 adventurers and headed out to the area the chameleon monster resides in. I got to "DoomedBlown", but it was empty, I looked at the legends again on a sepperate save, and figured out he was attacking someplace. So after a bit of running around I got this,

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Poisons of proliferating! That's the group that it's in!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
......WHHHHYYYYY!!! NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  :'(

9
Yeah, I'm probably gonna try again later tomorrow myself, but if no one gets it soon it's gonna get changed.

10

...Ok, that did not go as planned. And she got my last follower after  :'(

So I can't get the imageshack thing to work. But I was killed by a shadow woman in the same region as the chameleon man.

Ouch, I've been trying to do it as well, hardest part is getting over there! I'm sure someone will get it eventually, and if not I could always assign a new target.

« on: March 20, 2011, 04:22:11 pm »
Mission Briefing:

Your job is to find, and kill the chosen the selected person/beast designated. Once they are dead, the first person to have killed it will choose the next entity to assassinate

Rules:

#1: Every assassination will be done ON THE SAME SAVE. That means we will always be using the same save
#2: Every assassination will be done ON THE FIRST SAVE. Meaning that you will have to re-load the save every time a new hit is chosen.
#3: You may feel free to attempt any assassination you want, but you need to post a screen shot with proof to choose the next hit
#4: You may attempt to assassinate your own target, but you cannot choose the next hit.
#5: No unreachable targets
#6: Have loads of fun (Preferably)

We are now on our second target:

Ono Nurxosun, female minotaur

aaaand here's the save: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=4002

(Notes: It is EXTREMELY advised you use the legends mode to your advantage. You can be any caste you'd like (Peasant, Demigod, Hero) unless said otherwise in the target info. Feel free to ask any questions.)

Successful assassins:

Kzel: Killed the chameleon monster, Osnog pukecouple

DF Suggestions / Re: Slavery
« on: March 18, 2011, 06:44:46 pm »
In response to the talk of the fact that dwarves are against slavery, I don't think that this makes the entire suggestion invalid. There's no real details on it, and for all we know that they're only against enslaving their own kind. And if this suggestion is ever seriously considered, I see no reason why Toady couldn't just change the data.

First things first, most people on these forums play an obscure little game called Dwarf Fortress. Said game is generally not seriously played by people with an I.Q of less than par. People with a par or above I.Q are often incapable of understanding how stupid people can be.

Hey.... wait a minute...  :o
