                                            black bronze statue of Istrath
This is an exceptional black bronze statue of Istrath.
The item is an exceptionally designed image of Istrath, the deity of chaos war and fortresses depicted as a male dwarf in black bronze by Oddom Somiteb. Istrath is stiking a menacing pose.

I think he is son of Armok. I've got screenshot, if anyone needs to see this brutality  ;)

I am their will and their dreams. Something like Cthulhu. If fortress is more than 5-year-old and pop more than 100, then I build a temple for my self. And demand "blood contribution" of prisoners or (if no pointy-ear creatures present) least productive dwarves.

Current temple. Note how all the collumns have engravings :P

PS how do i hide image under "Spoiler"?

You have to love this game. Only in Dwarf Fortress, you would subject half of the fort population to genocide and made the the said fort haunted. Then you would force other half of population to sleep, eat and drink at this fort, to see if you can kill ghosts. Oh, and the living dwarves have to carry weapon with them to use against their dead friends. Smells like Dwarf Fortress...

--------------
P.S. disturbing thing is that someone will, in fact, do it.

The problem here is that he was killed as a ghost. The story is as following:
Urist McMason was very smart. He always thought to himself:
-Why should I take a long road back to the Fortress, when I can save three tiles and walk over that frozen river! This is genius! Armok bless the ice.
However, when spring came and part of the ice in the south melted, that should have rang a bell to Urist McMason. Not only he refused to clean himself from well within a fortress(platinum block, platinum chains, platinum bucket, and engravings around the well), but he insisted on walking down the ice north of the river to save himself three extra tiles of walk.
-How can they clean themselves inside the Fort? Look at all the sunshine, flowers blooming, birds singing. This is what..,-suddenly Urist McMason heared a cracking noise, that made him stop his monologue, - What is that noise? Why is it coming from the ice. AHHH, Bulb-bulb-bulb!
Urist McMason was a good mason but horrible swimmer. His body has not been retrieved from the river. For six month, any dwarf that would pass by the river would see two pale eyes and a smile, looking at them from the sand bottom. Then, in the late autumn, ice covered the river again, and since then noone could find Urist McMason's body. But they say, if at night on the full moon you look at the river, then you might see a ghostly dwarf walking and cleaning himself in the river.

Well, I am not good in writing anyway. But you get the concept on his death. After two or three years, he came back as a ghost. I did not mind him. He was neutral. Would not do anything bad, except haunting some other dwarves. Once after an ambush I looked through one of my dwarves kill-list to check his contribution. That is when I saw the killed ghost. So I looked over the battle report and there it was. There were fighting for unkown reason but then ghost got strucked down. I looked for the ghost of "Goldenbridges" and did not find him anywhere. So I assume he got vanished into oblivion forever.

Then it does not explain the battle report where they were fighting.

I do not really remember how was the battle report. But I do remember that it was a lucky hit. Also the weapon had the ghost's kill, as far I remember.
In addition, the ghost could not die of infection, because:
1) He is in kill-list.
2) He died because of being retarded, walking on ice in mid-spring.

How can I upload an image? I have a proof. He is listed in the "Kills list". Also I saw battle report. I should call my dwarf Aragorn or something.

My ghost got killed by one of my dwarves. Is it an accident?

I remember in one of my fortresses, it got visited by a Titan.
It was long time ago, but I remember it was a Giant Cuckoo with Shell (not kidding). Anyway, I could not predict to what extent this Titan could be dangerous as I assumed it had shell, therefore I hesitated to send my just-organized-last-summer squad, even wielding steel armor with axes. For those reasons I had War Dog Cage (around 10-15 war dogs) with one War Leopard (or jaguar, cannot remember), next to the entrance (obviously connected to a lever in a Dining Hall).
Long story short, the Titan was flying around for a little while. The next moment after he decided to land quite near the entrance, swarm of dogs got released from their cage together with a cute war leopard/jaguar. But then, something unpredictable had happened, the Giant Cuckoo start walking in the opposite side, however it took attention of one war dog who was now running right towards a Giant Cuckoo!
So, I told my war dog 'good bye'. As I realized, I made a bold statement. The war dog COLLIDED with the Titan, BITING ITS {Drum Roll} EYE LIDS!!! It tore BOTH of the TITANS eyelids off!!! As soon as I saw it I sent my militia to help the Super-Dog. After chopping off one of its wings (guess they did it intentionally so it won't fly away), ... and from here I am not sure what happened. But I do believe that this dog had the final kill on the Giant Cuckoo, because I do remember one of the engraving where "...death of a forest titan... War Dog laughing.." or maybe not. In any case, the dog got of the battle with only one of its ribs damaged.
What I learn, next time in Adventure Mode, invest all your points in Biting skills, and move on biting eyelids of the Titans.

PS the fort was very promising, but, after being tired and going to sleep, I accidentally pressed "Abandon the Fortress", which got me pretty upset
