Its really not. People have lives and generally aren't on during the week because of school/work. When it starts getting more involved it may become a week avg to get turns done. For the most part i'm only going to skip people if they're the last to post. So realistically lets call it 24-48 hours after the last person posts.

Completed the rest of the HP Sed trades

I have all my turns finished except Kash, Terenos i believe just needs to roll Hastur's

We split you guys in half on the turn list at cript, so we'll alternate on Cript's turn gen. Saves us both some burnout and time spent.

As a rule, if you dont give an orientation to the research, we'll try to pick something that isn't already out. If only to taunt everyone else with.

Labs also knows more of teh background of the game than any of you do. He's been assisting for a long time as well as played the game in a previous form. He's not GM'ing, he's telling people things so we don't have to more than we have already.

Hes also right. As we've said before - you dont really get to pick what you want. You can pick a field and direction, or attempt to modify something you already have. Some things improve as your field levels do, others (Like the shield cannon's stun) can be explicitly asked for. THis game isn't as structured as the real game will be, but thats because this is a forum and a small group. We can BS a lot of the rules to compensate.

If you want something others dont have, you need the field levels to do it. <10-15 probably wont cut it for something unique. The shield cannon was my attempt to justify ANOTHER giant laser research and i based it on previous research gained. The OTHER issue is that to be entirely in-game about it: You mostly don't know what anyone else has. So *shrugs*

Offensive research will lead to weaponized concepts
Defensive and some support will improve survivability of minions
Support is also intended to assist minions in non-combat ways

You people have no idea how much we're enjoying this. I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH. It's nice to see a system we've put over a year of effort into finally coming together

I'll probably run some turns tonight because i'm off tomorrow.

Future note: wed/thur i have off, so if i'm running turns i'll do them then usually. Terenos usually runs them as they come in. We try to get them up as soon as you all post the last one.

Speaking of which...we should probably add a few more proto agents, then allow them to upgrade by harrassing the players more often. I just feel bad constantly harrassing them cause no one is progressing nearly as fast as they could be or should be...the dice hate you people. I dont understand it.
