I anticipate you all screwing with each other numerous times in the future. It's part of the game

You're all effectively competing against the FoJ - and each other. You can ally with each other, sure, but you also need to try to stay ahead of your 'allies' or at elast just sell them out to the FoJ.

We totally approve of PM'd turn orders in the effort to 1-up each other

Yeah actually, we already put in what each unit was capable of...untill the new unlocked ones were released. I'll kick Terenos to add it

On the note of LabRat: He's an aquintance of ours from another game (whose system we also loosely use for this game)
-He's crazy
-He'd rather take a bullet in the stones than not do research every turn

No worries, running this game gives us a chance to pound him for all the things he did to us in the other game so many times ^.^

Passive boosts are just that, passive. They require no indication to activate them.

Traits are leveled as your EG levels. One of those factors that is held close by us. You'll be notified when you gain a level, which can be used on a new ability or to upgrade the one you have

I hope by extort you mean 'steal cash' otherwise we'll have to have another conversation of what any given minion is capable of...which is all located on the front page

3 minions go stealing money, 1 minion goes and makes a lab, I and the researcher will research physics.

pick one, build the lab or research. As has been mentioned numerous times now only techs and scis can enhance base at this time

So, is the research tree hidden? I am assuming it is random on what we get.

Yes, you get to pick the field (chem/phy/et) and direction (support/offense/defense) for your research

Hum. I was not aware of this disconnect. That is.. Interesting.

think of it like F@W cript, you can buy the units, you can buy a T2 research...neither allows you the prior research OR the ability to make the units yourself. HERE, however, you can buy the blueprints to build something, but that doesnt mean you understand the process.

Secret: The people that have made shiny toys in basically 1 week? Rolled really well if not a critical success,at least damn close. So it's more like 2-3weeks of research

Trades are basically events between players. You need to set up the place, time, security. (hint: yes, we plan to get involved)
-They're not instant

Also: You don't need a tech to build a laser. unless specified, Research invented toys are cheap to build and wont hinder research attempts themselves
-If you did, you only have 1, he couldn't do both build and enhance
