this game is still going? wow

So apparently the tools in power have actually placed a ban on large events due to Coronavirus.
Now, don't get me wrong, I generally don't have too much of a problem with 'em - but this is just mind-blowingly stupid. I hope Scott, his "Chief Medical Officer" (dude sounds about as competent as the SS13 version) and all of their families catch the damn virus as penance. Heck, might as well give it to the opposition parties as well while we're at it. Especially the greens.

What we need now is one of those silly mass Facebook events by way of protest. "Show Up On the Lawn of Parliament House and Share Coronavirus With Each Other" or something to that effect. Cunts shoulda known better than to let this daft hysteria impact everyone's social life.

wow really, please tell me more about your qualified understanding

The catholic church has announced that it will not comply with the new law that obliges priests to report child abuse to the authorities when it is told to them during confession.
Inb4 catholic church is banned in Australia, and all catholics deported to small islands off the coast.

Bit hard when nearly 30% of the country is Catholic. It's our biggest denomination.

He seems like an alright guy apart from his environmental policies, after a quick read of his Wikipedia page. I was barracking for Dutton but oh well, they're much of a muchness anyway. :P

Yeah, they're both extreme shitheads. Morrison is less terrible than Dutton, but that's like saying a fresh turd is better than a sat-in-the-summer-sun turd.

Rassin 'frassin...
I accidentally killed the Kanto Snorlax, basically in one hit.  My Gyarados's rock-smash was super effective, yet did so little damage that I risked a cross-chop with my significantly higher level machoke.

Clearly I must conduct honorable reset.  Last non-autosave was just after Sabrina, but that's not so bad.  Just got to exit the maze and face Surge's whole gym again, which is a cakewalk with my graveller.

I'd let it go, since "catching them all" is an impossible myth without not only trading, but a one-off real life event 20 years ago.  However, it carries leftovers!  Leftovers!  Hell yeah I'll replay a gym to get a second auto-regeneration item.

I'd consider using Snorlax except I feel that would betray my friendship with my (superior Johto) pokefriends.  Also, hyper beam no longer fires every turn if it OHKOs.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The only dark types in Gen II are Sneasel, Umbreon, Murkrow and Houndour/Houndoom. Of these, only Umbreon is pure Dark type. Sneasel is Ice/Dark (lol fighting), Murkrow is Dark/Flying (actually a pretty good type, pity Murkrow is mehkrow), and Houndour and Houndoom are Fire/Dark.

Re: Crobat?

It's Poison type because it has germy fangs, and both Golbat and Zubat were Poison/Flying too.
Like mentioned above, Girafarig was originally a two-ended Giraffee that was a "good twin" and "evil twin" archetype, that may or may not have evolved out of these weird little things called "Twinz". Both were planned to be Dark/Normal.

Can confirm, Weavile is an excellent pokemon, who only got better with age due to the existence of Fairies, despite its weakness to them. Weavile, amusingly enough, appreciates a Fairy type on its team, as they're able to soak up and threaten Fighting types that would otherwise horribly threaten Weavile's papery defenses. Still, Weavile is very vulnerable to priority; it is very fast, but something like bullet punch or mach punch from anything with semi-decent attack is going to be putting it on ice.

It does have a fairly limited moveset, but it's one of those ones that are perfectly suited for what it wants to do. It wants to hit hard with both of its STAB, it wants priority to finish off things faster than it, and the moveset umiman mentioned is perfect for that. Pursuit almost guarantees a KO on fragile psychic and ghost types that aren't carrying coverage to deal with Weavile or are outsped by it. Knock Off, with its major buffs, is practically required on a lot of pokemon, and Weavile can utilise it really well due to its high attack, high speed and Dark STAB.
Icicle Crash is a simple no frills, strong STAB attack. Ice Shard is quick attack.

You could also use late game sweeper to come in on paralysed or slept pokemon and set up with Swords Dance, or run Taunt to shut down enemy stall. But really, Weavile does best as a very threatening attacker, who is usually going to force at least a trade or two.

Electric type is never really popular. For good reason, it's just kinda average. Like grass-type. Electric attacks and move are great for coverage but on their own they don't really do anything particularly special. Similarly, the typing itself is just average. It doesn't have any particularly special advantages such as dark's immunity to psychic and prankster or flying's immunity to certain hazards and ground.

It does, actually. Electric has total immunity to paralysis. Which is incredibly stupid.

Electric rarely has any useful secondary typing as well. And there's really no variety to Electric moves, almost all Electric moves are "shoot lightning(and maybe paralyze)" or "shoot MORE lightning(and maybe paralyze)".

To be fair, they have been trying some new things, like with Parabolic Charge or Electrify... that are learned by one pokemon, Heliolisk.

Yes in Omega Ruby, I have no idea about Ultra Moon. If you visit Super Training, you can use the graph on the bottom screen to get an idea of where your EVs are going and what your final stat distribution will look like. You can also use certain punching bags to completely reset a pokemon's EVs, giving you a fresh start.

You also can in Gen 7. You gain access to an IV Judge after hatching ten eggs, who then simply adds the functionality to your computer, which shows their IVs and EVs on a five-pointed graph. Fairly simplistic, but it gets the job done.

Just normal stick deodorant...

Old Spice?

Can confirm, I use Old Spice Classic and get compliments very frequently because of it. It's a pleasant smell without being overpowering.

You also appear to be over your vassal limit, which causes some pretty sizable friction. Either move counts/barons directly under you to a duke, or make them independent. It's very difficult to maintain a stable empire while you're over your vassal limit.

The UK or US version?
I found that the UK version was one of those brutally cringy shows - not necessarily a bad thing, just something you need to be in the right frame of mind to enjoy - whereas the US version seemed to be just plain bad.

UK version was meh, cringey as hell, but I really enjoyed the US version (well, the seasons with Steve Carell anyway.)

It's hard cooking proportionately.

I accidentally made about a half gallon of meat sauce (there wasn't much flavor to speak of but the texture was absolutely amazing). That was enough to liberally sauce up our spaghetti, with enough left over for my wife to dump it into the next day's chili.

I like the idea of all-day recipes but they just don't scale well to two people. This is coming from the guy who dreams of making timpano. I think I just have to embrace the "big family" cook style and pawn it all off on coworkers.

Yeah, just make shitloads and freeze it for the week's food. Stuff like tomato-y meat sauce is superb, plus it's a solid base for many Italian cuisines.

Update to TF2. You'll notice a guy named Sketchek is mentioned, and that alone restores all my faith in the TF2 team. He was a guy that was a MAGICAL pyro player, but he died of cancer and seeing his name being honored makes me feel fuckin warm and tingly inside.

Maybe I'll actually boot up the game a play a little bit.

For real!? Aww, that's awesome. I loved watching Sketchek do his insane pyro tricks, and i was saddened when he announced he was terminal. Glad to see the TFTeam mention him.

Well, at least the Greens didn't win.

Barely, and only because they were preferenced against by nearly every other party.

So has anybody heard anything about having to pay for online multiplayer? I'm hoping they dropped the idea after seeing the success of the system... but that's just wishful thinking.

Yes, it's still a thing. It's also only $20USD / year, which is a pittance compared to what Xbox Live requires.
