Curses / Re: How to enter Fallout Shelter?

Door guards do auto-detect you, you need a sleeper.

Or just shoot your way in.

I have 3 sleepers on the compound. How does this work? I'm still getting rejected. On the gentlemen's club, I had a sleeper and she let me in (even when I was -18 years old). But seems like this doesn't work this way in this compound. What sleeper should I have?

That's odd, it should let you right through, pretty sure at least...

I have 4 now. But still the same thing. I will try recruiting them as normal members and going to the bunker with them.

What kind of sleeper should I have? I lose them all every time after I attack the base.

Alright I downloaded the source code to check why I can't come on in and I notice this:

Code: [Select]
if(location[cursite]->renting==RENTING_CCS && location[cursite]->type!=SITE_BUSINESS_BARANDGRILL)
               rejected=REJECTED_CCS;

So you only can enter Bar & Grill in a peaceful way? I can't sneak into the rest of the CCS safehouses? I thought it was possible because the wiki mentioned the disguises... So it doesn't matter how well disguised I am, I'm not getting in there...

I'm greeted by the Security Guard at the entrance asking me for an ID. My disguise is green (army body armor), I'm 18+ but I don't know why the guy won't let me in. I checked out the wiki page but it had no information about it. Any ideas?

Curses / Re: Weapons and Armors questions

Replying my own thread, I read weapons.xml

1. M249 has random damage of 301 and strikes 5 times. AK-47 has random damage of 251 and strikes 3 times. Both have fixed damage of 10. So looking at these numbers I can say that yes it's better.
2. Again, by the numbers deals 201 random damage, but has 9 armor penetration in constrats to AK-47 which has 7. But it burns, and I don't know the numbers what I think that's damage over time. And uses the heavy weapons skill.
3. By the numbers, yes, has more bonus armor.

Curses / Weapons and Armors questions
« on: August 08, 2011, 01:04:07 pm »
1. Is M249 better than AK-47?
2. Is Flamethrower useful? Does it uses the TROWING skill?
3. Is Army Body Armor better than SWAT Armor?

Thanks.

Hi, I made a very tiny utility to help generate the *.csv. You can get it here.

DF Modding / DFDrawCSV [Online Quickfort Utility]

First version

Use it
MegaSWF

Download it
Mediafire

Here is an tiny application I made in Flash, it lets you draw in a grid, and export that draw in a *.csv format, so that it can be used by QuickFort. It just let you dig, at the moment.

Commands:
  • Draw using left click.
  • Delete using shift + left click.
  • Copy to clipboard pressing ctrl + s.

Features I want to implement:
  • Support all the commands that Quickfort permits.
  • Support multi-layer drawing.
  • Ability to view the fortress from left-front-top, much like 3D applications.
  • Ability to resize the grid size, and move through it, to allow drawing a full-level blueprint.
  • Basic drawing features: Undo, fill, draw shapes, selection, copy, etc.
  • Preview mode, using a selected tileset, lets you see how the fortress would look after Quickfort process the *.csv.
  • Work without Quickfort, to reduce the steps needed to make the changes. Just one button.
  • Online library, so you can share easily your templates and blueprints, from within the application.
  • And you? What do you think that would be cool to add?

Please, report any issues, and have fun.
