What the hell, Chris?

Seriously, now. Playing as Terrence was pretty fun, except when I got held at gunpoint for no reason. Repelling ghosts with rune circles and all that.

Court just starts.

'You feel blubbery'

Oh fuck no...

Basically, obese and naked in a trial.

Wait. What.

Oh god, what have I missed?

Some guy in court suddenly got obese and his jumpsuit couldn't handle the blubber. Hilarity ensued.

If the primary staff housing is not complete, wonder why the D-Class stuff was built first and claim a bed temporarily.

The D-Class housing has less amenities than the employee barracks, and is therefore easier to construct.

Break out some spare paper and a copy of some Fiasco module. Start a game.

The GM doesn't know what a Fiasco module is! Would you mind explaining it to me?

Taking the flashlights and giving one to mister tappy I turn the TV on but stay out of its light watching for any SCP activity

You take the flashlights and hand one to Leto. You turn on the television, which functions normally, but seems much more dim than usual.

Make rudimentary small snares, set them, dissect anything that enters them, and record analysis of fauna. Also check for any anomalous or mutated animals. If they exist, find a cage (For mutated) or cell (For anomalous) to store them in and study them.

Edit: Pray to God of SCPs for one to come along.

[2] You've never been in the boyscouts or anything! You don't know how to make snares. Besides, this desert seems like a wasteland when it comes to animal life.

Grab a flashlight, and head down to the basement

You take a flashlight from Mark and head down to the basement. The lights are still off in there, but it seems much darker than even an unlit room should be.

Awh, and only one mention of The Prince?

BD and me did decide that I shouldn't steal the spotlight of scariness, but I thought that I was at least being creepy enough to merit more than one mention. Also, that corpse on the stretcher was me. I don't mean to whine, I just kind of want your opinion on how I did.

Basically an admin dresses up as a serial killer with a welder, and runs around terrorizing the crew.

COUGH COUGH

Obligatory mention of the Chzo Mythos by Yahtzee. Especially 7 Days a Skeptic, which is by far where the greatest influence over the Welder admin event is had. If you haven't played and/or seen a Let's Play of it, go do so. Personally, I really like DeceasedCrab as a Let's Player, so I'd recommend watching it here. Although, you might want to watch 5 Days a Stranger here first, as it is the first in the series and some of the stuff might not make sense otherwise.

But man oh man, I have fond memories of a Welder event on Goonstation a couple of years ago. Shit was scary.

Apparently BD didn't like me Cabadath-ing it up, though.  :(

find the nearest source of internet connectivity, read news online looking for weird articles

[3] You simply cannot find any internet cafes or unprotected networks. Even then, you don't have a laptop with you!

I go and leave the tappy master to his tappy ways while looking though the blacked out house trying the lights while I go through the house

[15] The door is unlocked. You enter, and as you noticed from the outside, it is completely dark inside. As your eyes adapt, you notice two flashlights on a nearby table with a couch behind it. There's a door, slightly ajar, with a stairwell leading down to the basement. Across from the table, there's a cheap television. It is turned off.

Silently tap dance through the house.

You follow Mark and see what he sees.

Procure my Ps3 and stash of pirated games for facility entertainment. Set up the corner of a building as a recreational area.

The wiring in the buildings hasn't been finished yet! You put the console and the games in a corner near an outlet anyway, though.

Examine games to see if any which sound interesting are present.

The library includes The Fight: Lights Out, The Darkness, Resistance: Fall of Man, and GTA IV.

"Ah, I'd been under the impression the Foundation shipped a few to this site. Well, I suppose I'll be on my way, then."
Begin to study random bits of rock and plant outside and try to find an anomalous object.

You find quite a lot of igneous rocks in the area around the mountain. Looks like it might have been a volcano at some point. The flora around here consists of small patches of Larrea Tridentata, the occasional Yucca Baccata, and rarely, a Yucca Brevifolia. No anomalous objects that you can see, though.

Leto Totum and Mark Rogers, you have been selected to investigate some strange occurrences in a nearby town. Streetlights have been getting dimmer without explanation, despite all the wiring appearing perfectly fine. You are both equipped with a pistol and two clips of ammunition.
follow these guys... discretely

[8] You aren't very good at being discreet! Although you weren't caught, they get very suspicious. -2 to any subsequent following-these-guys rolls.

Please note that the point of being an agent is not to do whatever the hell you want. It is to follow protocol, protect the site and retrieve SCPs when the administrators request it.

"I'm gonna need my tap dance shoes for this one." Equip tap dance shoes. Shoot out streetlights while singing "Singing in the Rain."

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Go to the power station dragging the tappy man and search the place

By the time you arrive at the area where the streetlights have been acting strangely, it is the evening. You can't see any power stations of any sort nearby, but there is, however, a small house on the side of the road. None of the lights are on, even though it is relatively early in the evening.

Sorry. GMing this game has been...difficult, to say the least. I'll get you up and dying horribly in no time. As in, right now.

Hallo? More votes?
I think we already voted on all that's needed; now we work and stuff.

No, I mean on the report that you just received.
What report?
Didn't we say to send some guy and Dancy?

One person said Mark Rogers, the other said to take Leto with him. No votes from the other administrators.

You've received a report from a nearby city that streetlights in a very small area have gone dark despite routine maintenance. The wiring appears to be fine, and the bulbs have been changed multiple times. This may not seem of importance, but the Foundation must remain ever vigilant. Who do you send, if you send anyone at all? Just a note, all Agents are equipped with a pistol and two clips of ammunition already, so no need to order weapons to prepare.
