Ouch, looks like we might need to reinforce with rebar-backed concrete for underground. Of course, that means we need the stuff to make concrete in the first place!


Edit:Continue with previous plan, since it looks like the only real damage was the cave collapse. Have the mining crews be extra careful re-digging that section though.

We already finished that, remember? A while back you asked, I told you we needed armor info. You provided, then we told you it was ok and that you just needed to agree with pw how much of our current shuttle fleet it was going to replace (for the record, I'd suggest keeping some normal shuttles around, just in case). You also asked for a token price, but pw confirmed that a normal shuttle is already really, really expensive, so this one with all the added crap would honestly be too expensive to afford for anyone, so we never gave it a real token value.

Ah, right. So what's left then? Just Nik giving the rubberstamp?

Jack stands smugly for a minute as the idiots finally get the hint, before dissipating his flame column....only to hear what appears to be shouts of fire coming from the building he just exited. "Typical. Just typical. Can these morons go ONE minute before almost causing us to fail the mission?!"

Quickly jog around until I find an actual entrance other than the window, and re-enter the building. Call all the flames into a ball and snuff them out.

((Edit:BTW can I actually tell the effect of the rune I have, or would I need to train in Rune Magic to do that?))

We have actually never used the factory to build anything, with the exception of the meatvat and some parts. That said, we'll need it in the immediate future.

On a side note, we can maybe get our Heavy bot to help out.

Oooh, pull the heavy bot and rig it with firefighting equipment! I like it!

As a matter of fact, I'm switching my vote to E: cut the power to the dome, and quickly rig our heavy bot mech with firefighting equipment and send it in, with a firefighting team as backup.

No no no, option D. If the factory goes offline for an extended period of time, we're gonna have severe issues; while the DC&MS can make things, it's at a crippling labor cost. Plus, you know, we'd likely be using it to repair the factory in the first place.

Also done by robots?

Reminds me that we need to scavenge the remains of the bot and exosuit and see if we can make another bot out of those parts. Getting two bots up and running will help since a +5 bonus is better than a -5 penalty for having only half an exo team(plus, you know, we can do long range mining and construction thanks to that commsat we have)

I'm alright with that.

I'm willing to change the plan (for one, building meatvats and designing a biodome seems a bit redundant), but I don't know what else to replace it with.

My housing idea seems like a good one, since I think we want to do better than slinging bunks into a dome :P

Hmm, a name I like would be the "Bradbury" MRV (As in Ray Bradbury). I think unless it's a generic mining vehicle or exo, we should name all our vehicle types after science fiction authors(like our ship is the Asimov)

'Two more aircraft + engine lines'(needs more details)
What kind of details do you need? Right now, instead of a new factory I'd say we just add it to A1 and AM1; that is:
Add two further aircraft production lines to Factory A1
Add two further aircraft engine production lines to Factory AM1.

New changes in red. We'll call the new factory NW1 now, but Aseaheru should decide on the proper acronym.

I just noticed a small problem with that.
Right now, we're producing 220 SDE M1933 engines per turn, of which 150 are used for POACs. Producing both of the landing craft costs us 450 engines per turn. We can therefore produce only 49 landing craft by using all of our next turn's engine production, leaving us without any new POACs. Even the new engine factories, producing the SDE M1933 engine exclusively, will leave us with a shortfall of 280 engines, necessitating the engine improvement program to increase our production by something like 75%.
Also, I'd recommend you change the assignment of Line 1 with Line 4, which'd mean we actually produce some of the 130mm guns we want to put onto our destroyers.

I'll also point out we're not actually producing 130mm ammo, which would be a bit of a problem. Also, since I apparently keep getting overlooked with this point, I'll bold, underline, and supersize this:

Guys, it's a naval armaments factory. I changed that about 3 minutes after i proposed the darn thing since it made more sense, but you guys keep missing that. This is a factory for producing all the stuff that arms our ships, from torpedos+launchers to cannons and ammo.

Can Pocket dimensions have more than one exit? I.E. on a longer mission can we use them as a way to resupply from the Sword by connecting it to the pocket dimension at one end and our current location at the other, and simply travel through the dimension?
