2) Kit myself out in heavy armor. Preferably plate mail made of aluminum or steel sheeting (like car bodies and such).

3) Wade into the zombie horde facepunching away.
4) If tired, wade home. Rest and rehabilitate.

Repeat loop until all zombies are eradicated.

I believe the anti-vampire organizations should be randomized (just as everything else) so in one world it could be anything from Spanish inquisition to Witchers orders and dwarven FBI (vampires committed crimes not only in your fort but all around the country, so it's not guards jurisdiction)

And I think the end result would be a disk of energetic plasma a few nanometers thick between two portal interfaces. Your entire universe would be defined by the tiny space between the portals.

Girlinhat and I had a discussion about this earlier, and apparently it requires getting underneath the slade to start with - so it requires a bugged world. Then you can ramp up into the slade and get boulders that way.
