Grifen cautiously sampled her own drink and was relieved to find that it actually tasted pretty good. Compared to the grog, anyway.

: "This oughta be nice. I wonder if the others will show up?"

10652
Oh hey, Vector's back. At least a little bit. Huzzah!

"Her name is Ness. Not Nest." Sacha grumbled as she looked over the creature on the ground. It looked like it'd been dead for a while but... That's not possible is it?

"Hey Darwyn; Can something live after death?"
"Well, I suppose that depends on what you consider living. If you mean getting up, walking around, maybe attacking parties of explorers, then I would say that yes, it is possible. That creature we dispatched seems to prove it. If, on the other hand, you're asking if it possible to continue being yourself after death...well, I'm afraid I have no idea. This is the first dead thing I've ever seen moving around on its own, so I don't have much experience in such matters."

I'm about 95% certain that there's already a metal song of some stripe about corpse-fucking. At least one. Not the sort of thing I want in my search history, though, heh.
If he's not fucking the corpse, at the very least he's doing something very untoward.
stop putting us on watchlists
If you're posting on Bay 12, you're already on most of them. Just wave to the nice government folks and go back to discussing WMDs.

...you wish for a game based on Grey's Anatomy? o_o

It took Amberly a while to respond to Elanor's nod, as the nun organized her thoughts. She sounded just a bit peeved.

: "It's fine that you do not wish to worship the Old Gods. I understand. People need to be free to make their own choices about such things."
"What I don't understand is why you feel a need to show such disrespect for people who don't believe as you do. Regardless of what you think of the Old Gods themselves, their worshipers are ordinary men, women, and children. The fact that you would so gleefully disrupt their prayers and ceremonies for nothing more than your own amusement...well, it doesn't say much about your characters. Especially you, priest. I would have expected a leader of the faith to be a bit more understanding. How would you react if a shrine to Undine were desecrated, perhaps on your watch?"

Seeing that Fezz had lost the odd expression (what was that, anyway?), Grifen smiled in return.

: "Oh good, yer already lookin' much better."

: "Well, sorry to bug you fellas. Us gals were gonna go find some place to get some drinks and snacks, so we're gonna let y'all get back to whatever y'were doin'. See ya later!"

With a last wave (and another smile for Fezz), she returned to where Sheila and Ciera stood waiting and continued on the journey to find a tavern.

Will set that up in my next post.

Also I doubt my opinion matters at all, but +1 to Efa/Candy C Support.

Duster?

: "Well, I guess that makes sense." Grifen removed the glove from one hand and placed the back of the hand against Fezz's forehead.

: "No fever. Maybe a little warm though. Go ahead and finish yer walk, and once ya get back to the inn make sure to take a nice warm bath. It'll loosen yer joints a little and hopefully ya won't feel all crackely. Sound good?"

With her free arm, Grifen gave Fezz and the other guys a hesitant wave, unsure of what to do in her predicament. Then she slowed as the distance between them closed and got a better look. Was Fezz sick? He looked unusually tense and had something almost like a grimace on his face. And the expressions on the other two were also odd. The old-timer was staring at the scholar intensely. And the bard looked like he was struggling not to laugh!

Grifen had no idea what was going on, but Fezz clearly needed help with something and the nomad wasn't carrying anything but a few basic medicines. She called out to the bard standing a few feet away.

: "Hey Alec, see if ya can find preacher and get him to take a look at Fezz. And Fezz, if yer feelin' sick y'should stay in bed! Ya gotta take care of yerself...probably need more sleep. I'll check in on ya later, okay?"

Miguel is a senile old man thinking of his own wife, maybe? :P
Not sure if that's funny or sad :/

10662
: "...and she has those pretty little blue eyes trained on you! Ah! And ho ho ho! Here she is now!"
I wonder if Fezz will be as confused by the mention of "blue eyes" as I am. As far as I know, the only girl in the party with blue eyes is...Ciera! :o

To be honest I personally don't understand why people can't understand basic courtesy. If someone doesn't want to be quoted, you don't quote them. It doesn't matter if it's an effective way to hide information or not. You don't do it. Quit being an asshat.

Lyn's attack animations are pretty damn flashy. Just compare them to Erika, who basically pokes her foes to death.

Grifen grabbed Ciera's hand and led the pegasus rider along (dragging the other woman if necessary).

: "We're right behind ya!"
