Cool beans.

Also, I think you meant "Aland" in the last IC post, not Anderson :P

Wait...are we supposed to be listing each book we read separately? O_o

I figured we just tossed them into one big spoilered list.

I don't like needles or sharp blades being near my person. I have to suppress anxiety when I shave in the mornings.
Solution: don't shave. You need to get started on your wizard beard anyway.

Yep yep.

Choice of Robots and Heroes Rise are very simple to play; almost entirely text with stats. Good amount of story possibilities though. Appointment with FEAR appears to be slightly more game-like, with graphics and combat systems. Probably not complicated combat systems, but vOv

I picked up a few today using Steambux I got for Christmas:

Appointment with FEAR
Choice of Robots
The Heroes Rise trilogy

There's a couple others as well but I didn't buy them.

Choose Your Own Adventure games are fun. I just finished one where my character basically became the father of all robots, creating a somewhat-utopian future where humans and synthetics peacefully co-exist. That'd be pretty cool if it actually happened.

Choose your own adventure games being roll to dodge or are there actual games like that?
Yes, there are actual games like that. Somewhat more limited of course but still nice.

Did Anderson ever manage to make his Hide check?

Blunt weapons don't usually break through armor anyway, IIRC. They just transfer the kinetic energy through the armor to hurt you.

Also, I don't see any squid in that image, Janet. I am of confuse.

Squid is on the left
Is there a reason why they have almost identical hairstyles?

I should become a chauffeur and cart around forumites who can't drive for a living :v

Oh right.

Well, my comment stands. Brom is okay for taking hits, but Nephenee is a better overall fighter and her DEF can get as high or higher than Brom's. Plus she has Wrath for murdering fools. I've held off entire reinforcement waves with her alone.

Have you been leveling up Nephenee? At least in my run, she surpassed Brom in pretty much every way possible. I eventually just dropped the knight and went with her instead :v

Move to (6,17) and HACK Hired Lance B with the Killer Axe!!

Rather, located it, its in orbit, I'm on my rather nice planet.
The simple solution is to construct a planet-sized entity to wield it. Giant robots are the most common solution, but you could also summon an Elder Thing, build a large ship and mount it as a ship-based weapon, convert your planet into a ship, or even take several hundred Growth Potions in order to make yourself large enough to use it.
