Okay, that was odd. For a few minutes my mouse randomly decided that left click should open links in new windows, that scrolling the wheel wanted me to move through my browser's history, and that left clicking on taskbar icons should bring up the "do you want this program to make changes to your computer?" window. It's stopped now, but I have no idea why it happened in the first place.

Not just an American, but an American commercial truck driver. Probably one of the few jobs in the country that have strictly-defined, federally-enforced limits on how long we can work, lest we get run into the ground from constant demand :v

I haven't had a vacation since early January 2013. Nearly a full year before I started this :P

Thanks to late starts, multiple wrecks slowing traffic to a crawl, and terrible planning on my boss's part, today has been quite frustrating. It isn't even halfway over! I'm so glad that today is Friday...

It's funny, before I realized what mead actually is, I always imagined it being something sour or bitter. Something... manly? I mean, it's what vikings and such used to drink, right? It turns out that it's basically alcoholic candy. Seriously. It's girlier than peppermint schnapps. I... I have so much less respect for all those warriors in old stories now. They were like, "I have returned from the battle and I demand a cup of hot sugary sweetness laced with alcohol!"
"Girly" drinks are about I can handle :P
I wonder how hard it would be to find mead around here...
