'twould appear that Spacefaye, the creator of Wall of Text and "On a scale of 1/10, how dead is this forum?" has been banned.

...Who and what?
Some fellow who posted a thread claiming that the forum was dead in DF Adventure Mode Discussion and then posted a "game" called Wall of Text that was basically a long line of racist and misogynist text was banned and his threads deleted a small while ago.
Yeah...when someone who posts stuff like that gets banned, it isn't a "WTF". It's a "saw that coming".

The druid facepalmed when Sacha attempted to punch Ayeleth, and again when Sacha stomped away.

"It's a bit complicated, Relic. I'm Darwyn, and the dolphin in the water is Marina."

All of the initial soldiers were equipped with laser weapons and carapace armor. The problem is that every single reinforcing soldier was a sniper, and I only had the one laser sniper rifle. I lost my second-best support (the best was in the medbay) and what was at the time my only assault.

At least everyone was wearing carapace armor. Both of my losses were to the final wave of enemies, which consisted of two mechtoids, a cyberdisk, a few sectoids, and the sectoid commander, which could simultaneously mind-control one of my soldiers and provide a shield to the mechtoids. We simply couldn't damage the mechtoids quickly enough to save the dead, especially not with security personnel panicking every couple of turns.

"That's true enough," Darwyn agreed. "I'm still not sure how the blasted contraption even moves..."

Normal difficulty .__.

Lamden still needs to pick up an axe if he wants to use a weapon next chapter...and we also need to decide what to do with the remaining 1,100 or so gold.

Ursa to (12,6), equip Hand-Axe.

So a Nun from that area would likely be worshiping the Old Gods, if I'm reading the lore correctly.

Hey Swordstar, you might have a theological debate buddy! :D

Bookmarked.

Last night I played the XCOM HQ Invasion for the first time, and good lord was it brutal. 14 Sectoids, a Sectoid Commander, 2 Mutons, 3 Cyberdisks, 3 Drones, and 6 Mechtoids. Two of the Mechtoids were in the first wave that dropped from the ceiling directly into the starting room, the rest showed up later on. I lost two operatives and all of the Base Security troops, and was down to nothing but snipers by the end of it.

Where would Chapter 1, where new recruits are presumably found, be located? I'd like to know what a Nun from that area would be likely to worship.

Bay12 is still acting up for me. Since it was working just fine on my phone, I'm starting to suspect my browser might have had a bad update. I really hope this isn't the case because I'm not sure it can be rolled back :/

But transparent text is just as invisible on the darkling layout as well. So you aren't making life more difficult for default-layout users! \o/

12298
You people need to learn that white text isn't actually invisible on the default forum layout :P

12299
I approve of anything that makes life harder for non-darkling people.
Except I know all of your tricks :P

Nah, I doubt Hanslanda was at my show. Geography, y'know. But that would be a funny coincidence!

Probably my three favorite shows were...The Eagles back in 2006 (my first concert); a triple show starring Journey, Styx, and Def Leppard; and a double show featuring Chicago and the Doobie Brothers (who teamed up for a few songs).
