Because I like leveling up units?
At least, I did in older games. When you could use a weaker unit to attack a more powerful one, then Rescue the weak unit and heal it up and do it again. Now you can't Rescue people, so that tactic doesn't work. I lost that Villager unit more than once when I forgot about this fact :/

I keep walking away from FE:A because leveling up weak units is such a pain. I got spoiled by Path of Radiance with that "Bonus EXP" that you could give to any unit in-between chapters :c
