Yeah, that's about when I get demoralized  :-[

I think I made it to the Mutons once on Classic difficulty, but by that point I had something like 2 squad members left and no more funds to recruit more.

This game bugs me. Normal difficulty is pretty easy and I do well in it, but Classic always kicks my ass to the point where I'm demoralized enough to start over. I've lost several Classic games because shots go wide, and I never deal enough damage when I need to, while the aliens have just the opposite level of effectiveness.

...should I care about that? Sounds like they do nothing but take mastah for granted, so maybe a couple of nights on the streets will convince them to look for work and quit bitching that mastah isn't kowtowing to them enough.

The first time was by accident; a Thin Man rushed through a doorway that my soldier was covering from a tile or two away. The Overwatch shot missed, and the Thin Man apparently decided that rushing to cover was more important than shooting at my guys. After that missed, I got pissed off and moved the same soldier to almost point-blank range (still flanking) to kill the Thin Man, and the shot missed again. I have Absolutely Critical on, so these flanking shots would have been one-hit kills...IF they had hit.
