Maybe they were hoping that the Ice Climbers were unlockable, like how you thought Jigglypuff had been removed until you unlocked it?

Yeah, I guess they could have discovered it recently. But even when I thought Jigglypuff had been removed I didn't get angry about it. I just decided I would unlock and master Duck Hunt.
Ugh...I can't into Duck Hunt. He(they?) seems very underpowered. I was using him(them?) when I unlocked Jigglypuff, and even the explosive failed to ring-out the puffball when said puffball had over 100% damage.

ICE CLIMBERS MASTER RACE

Just kidding, I don't care. I don't have a 3DS, so I can't play that game anyway.

I understand why people are unhappy with it, but there are still people who are pissed about it. How long have people known they wouldn't be in the game? At least a month, right? I could not stay that angry about something so trivial for so long.

Hold still.

Can you afford the shop's prices though? They'll charge for both the part and the labor, and they'll REALLY screw you over on the latter. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty you can save a few hundred bucks easy by doing the job yourself.
1) We've been doing a fair number of repairs on my car recently, so a fair bit of it (engine, transmission, etc.) is under some form of warranty or other. With any luck the shop should at least be able to identify what is wrong so we can get it taken to the right place for the warranty.
2) I know literally nothing about the realities of cars. (Theory, and mechanics behind them? Tons. Actually physical form? Nada.) Nor do I know anyone who will be available anytime soon to come and help.
3) I really can't afford to be carless for these next few days. Places to go and important things to do and all that, and if that means having to pay some to be able to do that than that's that. :-\ If anything the car is probably due for a new alternator soon anyways, and this way will at least ensure if something does go horribly wrong sometime soon it's under some form of coverage to get it fixed.

The reviews from the shop are all really good, so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad price wise, and if it had happened at any other time I probably would have been able to call in a friend from farther away to help or install one myself; but at this time it's more of just a grit your teeth and bear it thing. (Not counting the fact that it's totally possible that there could be a deeper problem that is causing this; the car is like 25 years old with a few hundred thousand miles on it.) It sucks, and it's really annoying, but that's why I posted it in this thread after all. :P
Combined with the alternator(?) woes and assorted other repairs, I'm wondering if maybe you have my old car :P

Yeah, but the parts tend to be a bit harder for the average Joe to acquire. Worst case, it requires eBay and a week or two for shipping a used part that might not even work.

Oh hey, tahujdt got banned.

...eh. Saw it coming, but its still kinda a bummer.

Yeah, this is sad.
For me, it's only sad in the sense of "oh, another member of the community is gone for good". After a certain remark he made earlier in the week, I'm not sad at all about him in particular leaving.

Good thing for you, alternators are pretty easy to install.
Maybe if you're an auto shop kind of guy. It took my dad and I a few hours to get a new alternator installed in my car, and it failed a couple months later. Of course, we rarely do anything more complex than change out a lightbulb...

Suicide bombers are almost certainly dead before any of their victims, even if the time difference is only a fraction of a second.

Grifen grimaced as she wiped the bits of longbowman off of her face, then looked around at her wounded comrades.

: "Any of y'all got some medicine I can use to help preacher out? I'm down to bandages and spit here!"

"I must take my leave as well. Please watch over Gig and Oleg for me."

Get on board, prepare to set sail!

No, but I'm down to my last clean set of clothes and I was supposed to get my laundry done today so the family can work on it later tonight while I'm at work :<
