I gotta catch some Zzzz's soon. If you want a copy of Artemis, PM me and I'll pick up an appropriate pack tomorrow morning (up to a limit of five people).

Still better than the ones who wear Nirvana shirts and don't know who Cobain is.

Or people of any age who insist that the vast majority of Pink Floyd songs aren't shit (unless you're really high)...

I think that the best musical argument I see often is probably the one about Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers re: "It's 'Born to Lose'!" "No, moron, it's 'Born too Loose'!" from the people who don't actually own the album (or know how to use a search engine) and thus can't check and notice that they're both right; on the original release it's Born to Lose; on the Lost '77 Mixes release of L.A.M.F. the first track on disc one is Born to Lose, the first track on disc two (which is remixes, demos, &c.) is Born too Loose; on the definitive edition they're both labeled Born too Loose. It's bloody hilarious to see hundred+comment chains of rage about that one, heh.
In fairness, I could understand the confusion that could arise from that particular example. Especially if you only ever heard the titles spoken (say, on the radio) instead of reading them :P

Having a thread would probably make it easier to find players/potential players, yes.

EDIT: Looking at one of the images on Steam's store page, there's a LOT of potential gameplay here. Such as ship-versus-ship battles (as in, at least two crews battling each other) and co-op with multiple ships working together.

I think it can be played online, it's just more "immersive" to do it all in the same room.

According to reviews, it can be played with a smaller team (or even solo!), but that both makes the game more difficult and subtracts from the overall experience.

So, is no-one interested? I'm not going to spend $20 on six copies of Artemis if I'm the only one who wants to play, and the other titles in the bundle do not really interest me enough to get the bundle on their own.

So I'm playing as England, and my first goal is to (re?)unite the British Isles. I send King William the Conqueror up north from London and declare war on the savage Scots, attacking my first target: a large army led by the heir to the Scottish throne.

It's the dead of winter in some patchy woods, and I decide to be cunning. My cavalry is out in the open, along with a couple of units of spear militia, but the bulk of my forces (including three units of skilled English bowmen) are hidden in the trees.

The Scots charge, of course, the unwashed barbarians that they are, and run straight into the steel rain of arrows that my archers unleash. My cavalry brushes aside their own, the Scot heir is soon killed, and before long the brutes begin to break and flee. My cavalry have a field day hunting them down, and the only reason any Scots survive is because there were simply too many to kill before a few escape off the map.

In the end, my infantry is virtually untouched while my light cavalry took the most losses. We captured over 300 enemy soldiers, all of whom were put to the sword, and now we begin the siege of Edinburgh where the king of Scots awaits with his pitiful home garrison.

So show of hands, who would be interested in playing Artemis with other Bay Watchers? I'll buy the bundle and give folks the extra copies if I know they'll be put to good use.

: "Of course I still have them. What do you have in mind?"

I'll hold until the door is open just in case.
This turns out to be a good idea :v

Harlan took advantage of the temporary quiet to slow down and let his breathing return to some semblance of normalcy.

After Lillian moves, go to F-28.

12779
After Lilly managed to convince the new girl to join up, Harlan let out a silent sigh of relief. The way the conversation had been going, he had been sure that someone (probably Laura) would have ended up dead.

The sigh quickly turned into a coughing fit, and the thief grimaced. He had been in that damn cell for to long; even this little bit of exercise was leaving him short of breath, and the pain from his axe wound wasn't helping.

: "Let's get moving, people. Someone might have heard the commotion."
