General Discussion / Re: Things that made you sad today thread.

Today I learned that zits are shmup bosses.

Frumple is, unfortunately, correct. When I was assaulted by a coworker in a previous job and tried to report it, my boss gave me two options: I could pursue my complaint, which would likely cause us both to lose our jobs, or I could shut up and we'd both get to keep them.
And that precludes going straight to the police with it as well?
Don't think the cops could have done anything. Besides, I would have lost my job anyway, probably because of some minor error they could use as an excuse. The supervisors there were kinda scumbags.

I usually prefer the toolless runs myself, if only because the feats that get pulled off are due to pure skill rather than continually resetting and playing frame-by-frame to get the desired effect.

"I'm guessing that anything of value would, in fact, be missed. Surely I can't have been the only one to hear the stories about dwarven bookkeepers? They can keep track of individual chunks of ore, or so the legends go."

Watching a Mirror's Edge speedrun, to look for better ways of doing some (most) of the game to get better times and such.

The Youtube comments are almost entirely people complaining that speedruns shouldn't use glitches.

Who let the lobotomy patients out?
There's different types of speedruns, y'know.

Take flask of acid. Distribute the bugbear's gold to the other party members, 2 each.

"There's your payment, rhymer."

13254
Anderson spat on the bugbear's corpse before attempting to loot.

Why was he let go in the first place?

"We haven't found anything so far. And in all likelihood anything down here is owned by the dwarves."

I'm not entirely convinced on this point.

* Sirus enjoys both 3.5 and 4e and will take part in no edition wars

5e I'm still a little iffy on, but then I've only played once with pre-made characters.

Don't be silly, Rolep :P

DO dance for Aika whenever you get on, Gorog, but I'll hold off on moving until we get this sorted out. Sound fair?

Mostly because I don't want darkpaladin to show up, decide to hold off, and disappear for 3 days :P
