The question surprised Ursa. Not so much because he'd never thought about it before, but because of the fact that Coward Archer had apparently been the one to summon up the courage.

Eventually, Ursa left the hold and went back on deck. The new woman was talking to Diana, so Ursa decided to just stare out at the ocean until someone needed his help or they got underway again. He gave Oscar a wide berth.

But the whole concept of 'flirting' or whatever seems completely alien and impossible to me, a scary thing other people can do, even whilst drunk.This so much. I can talk with women just fine, make friends (or at least acquaintances) fairly easily. Anything else seems out of reach.I should probably read a book on it or something.
