So after finally acquiring Mass Effect 3, I spent most of the weekend playing it

(spoilers below, highlight at your own risk (yes I am aware the game came out a couple years ago, I just want to be polite))
I'm just having so much fun with it, holy crap. It really feels like shit is going down, and I'm just barely pulling the galaxy back from the brink. Calling in old favors, constantly going the extra mile, reaping the benefits of being a solid Paragon...and of course, mowing down legions of foes. All these characters, many old and some new, forming this complex web of people I've pissed off and people who'll name their children after me and everyone in between. Dunno how far I am, but after
curing the genophage and securing an alliance between krogans and turians, things are starting to look up.
I'm greatly enjoying the characters. I laughed at Wrex's commentary. I got a little teary-eyed when
Mordin and later Thane died. I actually shook the middle finger at that one salarian diplomat. You know the one I mean. That bitch.
Combat seems way more challenging than the previous two games as well. There's a lot more baddies, they're more accurate, and aside from some occasional buggy AI they're a hell of a lot smarter too. They flank, flush me out of cover with grenades, and constantly keep me working.
So yeah, that's my happy. Now to get some sleep so I can work tomorrow
