Was it just me, or was episode 4 of TTGL the weakest of the entire series? If it weren't for the introduction of the Black Siblings I would probably skip it on every watch-through.

Not sure I'd want a 3DS version of SSB; I mean, the system is a good deal less powerful than the Wii U and I've noticed slowdown in a couple of the games I own. I can only imagine how bad it might get when 4 characters are flinging projectiles and particle effects around everywhere.
Then again, I don't have a Wii U and can't see myself spending so much money on one for a single game :/

Which isn't too surprising. The people who made/animated FLCL also made Gurren Lagann. Or at least the same company did.
Also it gets better, trust me. I can't say if it lives up to the hype, but Gurren Lagann definitely comes close.
Fuggit, Imma go watch the series again. Relive the epic.

I think there was one where some alien race was able to kill by use of sex, but a single human managed to survive and took them over. One fanfic I am reading right now has XCOM humanity secretly trying to guide events in the Mass Effect universe. Now that I think of it Mass Effect fics are one of the few places that humanity is every awesome in a sci-fi story that has aliens.
