: "Weren't exactly an ordinary mercenary job, old-timer. That was my impression, at least. Less gold and more swords."

: "Shoot. Well, it was worth a try."

Grifen guided Bree up the boarding ramp.

Which is what I voted for :D

Who cares about weapon proficiencies? It makes perfect sense for a new priest to decide to become a monk instead of a full-fledged priest.

: "Ya mean it? If we don't get on the boat, we can go free?"

I'm in my 20s and I still don't have my learner's permit. Working on it, but I'm scared that I'll screw up and end up hurting/killing someone once I actually get on the road...
Yep. Driving is scary  :(
Driving is freedom. Driving can be scary at first, but that feeling fades pretty quickly once you're doing it all the time.
So much this. Though every once in a while it can still be nerve-wracking, which is not necessarily a bad thing. When you're nervous, you're more cautious.

So much carnage...it's beautiful  :'(

I guess I can't complain about getting four important stats...but I'd rather have Garran's level :p

Miguel and Grifen? You best hurry up, Powder's already made noises about having Efa and Grifen support, and I'm rapidly running out of slots :P

Oh man, Crowwiz could utterly break some maps.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Couldn't find my multitool with a bottle opener on it, so I tried to open a bottle of bourbon and cola with my nailclipper.
(It has a few different blades attached to it, but is primarily meant for the care of fingernails.)
It worked pretty well, despite being somewhat time-consuming, and probably would have been a perfectly okay method of opening a bottle- except I fucking dropped it when the lid came off. >:(
Stupid clumsy self. I'm not nearly drunk enough to excuse that sort of behaviour!
Use a cheap plastic lighter next time. Just push the underside of the lighter under the edge of the cap and push a little bit. Cap pops right off.

Note: I had that video muted, so I don't know if there's any horribad music or anything in it. Click at your own discretion.
I was expecting him to use fire somehow :/

I really wish Nintendo would make a sequel to Warlocked.

I loved that game.
...Wasn't that the RTS on the Game Boy Color? Someone else actually played that? O_o

Well, shoot. Grandma had always claimed that gargoyles were expert cheesemakers. Sadly, none of them carried any of their magic cheese, which could cure blindness and depression.

: "Oh well. Hey Sheila, how ya doin'?"

...Why would there be any issue with them taking their children out on the boat? You might as well say it's wrong and immoral take them on a road trip.
<twocents>
Well, on a road trip you can stop at a hospital if someone gets sick or injured, while if that happens on a boat you have to wait several hours, if not days, for rescue assuming anyone picks up your emergency signal. And one-year-old kids can get sick and injured quite easily, with all sorts of nasty stuff. I could see the logic in waiting another year or two so you don't have quite such young people on such a long voyage.
</twocents>

A dick move by the phone provider in any case.

Finding a hospital if you break down on the highway in the middle of a long stretch devoid of civilization?
Even the most devoid stretch of highway is closer to help and more heavily-traveled than the middle of the ocean. You would have to be way far out on some backroads, possibly unmapped, in order for that to be an equivalent problem.
