What the...

I just found a cleric spell called "awaken" that lets you make trees think.

The guys who designed that spell need to hold off on the acid.
Druids have that spell as well. It allows you to create intelligent animals and trees.

No RES still ;_;
Oh well, at least I got a few stats.

Speak for yourself!
D'aaaagh I wish I at least got SPD or STR ;_;
I have 70% RES growth ;_;

Darwyn frowned.
"Does anyone actually know how to use a boat like this?"

Where is Devoted Performer? It doesn't appear to be on the d20 SRD which, last I checked, is pretty much the only source we can use.

14721
It would start with 7? Awesome!

Uh... I've gotten random invites from people too. It could just be spam, you know.

Well, a companion badger would be tame and not attack people unless they were a threat :P

By the way Taw, how many tricks would my companion start with, assuming I've had it for some time? Porpoises can learn up to 6, and being my companion gives it an extra trick at level 1.

@ Rolep: So, most everything? :P

Not completely your fault since I use crossbows with massive MT which gets tripled vs fliers V:
*COUGH*
Wow. I S*COUGH*CKKK! >_>
You use a different sort of weapon, that's all. Crossbows also are very heavy (which reduces AS and evasion) and cannot gain extra attack power from the user's STR, which means that upgrading to more powerful (and heavier) weapons is a must as the game goes on. Wheras with enough STR you can stick to simple longbows for much of the game :v

Darwyn stroked his beard for a few moments, thinking at Sacha's question. Finally, he responded.
"Healing magic could have cured his wounds, yes, if he were brought to me in time. But getting impaled is no small injury even for a young fit man, and he was quite old. It is possible that death was almost instantaneous." He shook his head sadly. "I cannot perform miracles."

According to what I read, you can have one animal companion at a time. You can get a new one if it dies or you simply want a different animal, but the ceremony to bind the new one to you requires 24 uninterrupted hours.

Not that it really matters at the moment. If it turns out that porpoises are crappy animal companions, I'll switch.

14727
Guess I'm having a porpoise animal companion. It'll be pretty smart and can learn lots of useful tricks, but it probably won't be much good in a fight.
The only other animal I'm thinking of is a badger, which I would probably take if I didn't have this rare opportunity of an oceanic campaign setting.

Unless someone can give a solid argument in favor of a badger?

Oh good, because I was REALLY curious about what else it could have been :P
Surprised so many of people here have played Aidyn Chronicles. I have mostly fond memories of it.

Oh my god, fuck you Apple.

I just wanted to burn an audiobook to some CDs, which apparently required iTunes. Well fine, I hadn't had many problems with it before.
It proceeds to download and install a ton of other crap. This crap messed with my browser, causing me to lose all of my tabs, changing the homepage, and opening new tabs opens up some weird websearching service instead of normal Nightly stuff. Oh, and then after all that takes place the iTunes installer proceeds to tell me that I had downloaded the 32-bit version which was not compatible with my OS, and declined to even install the program I wanted in the first place.

Since shit is still messed up I am running every security scan I have.

Edit: FUCKING KNEW IT!
MalwareBytes turned up a crapton of files and folders dropped into my system, most of which are from those unwanted programs that installed themselves.

My Plan:
Violet autokills the mercenary.
Jake moves into the Mercenary's space and shoots the wyvern. I think he should be able to bring it down after Violet softened it up.
Garran moves forward and stabs the remaining wounded mercenary.
After that Noel does...something. Actually, with the extra MOV cost of the ford I'm not sure Noel can get close enough to help without refreshing from Daethwin anyway.
