That's the least encouraging thing I've heard all day.

Anyway, thing that made me terrified today:

While I was driving home, an old Asian woman bursts out of a side-street and stops right in front of me. She sits there for a few seconds, smiling and waving, before driving forwards and almost hitting a car on the other side of the road (they had to slam their brakes on and almost got rear-ended, too). Eventually she managed to make the turn and heads off down the road, at a snail's pace.
I'm baffled that people that incompetent can get a licence in the first place.
I like how you assume incompetent drivers have a license at all :V

Jan cracked her knuckles and began to familiarize herself with the ship's wheel (assuming it has one) and rigging. She also puts her new tools in an easily-accessible place.

Runa and Jake must have gone off somewhere, because no one seemed to know where they were. Oh well, surely someone would tell them if she didn't get to them first. Shrugging, Violet made her way back to the breakfast table, hoping there was some food left. If not...well, one missed meal wouldn't kill her. She found an empty seat near Josephine and sat down.

: "Pardon my intrusion Josephine, but I was wondering what you knew about this "Kosko" person who joined at the same time you did. Was he a member of your village too?"
