If the Nazis managed to invade the Northwestern United States, America would have much bigger problems than trying to find Bigfoot :P

Do you want to try and put an old, angry Wookiee in a museum?

EU Han Solo was killed by Native Americans and Chewie was Bigfoot. It was only a matter of time (at least until The EmpireDisney acquired everything) before a ship containing R2D2 also arrived.

What. The. Fuck.
That was never canon. It was part of a series of silly "what-if" comics. This particular story featured a cameo by Indiana Jones. You can read it here.

Aw dammit. We have a package of sliced Havarti, unopened and with an expiration date sometime this April.

I pulled it out and it was moldy. Still unopened. I was gonna have a delicious sandwich with that Havarti but I guess that's not happening.

I've been looking at Shadow of the Demon Lord, a dark fantasy RPG that seems to be a bit of a grab bag mechanics-wise: 4 attributes, numerous characteristics derived from those, dice rolling involved d20s and d6s, also tracks both Insanity and Corruption. It takes place in a world on the verge of Armageddon, with the titular Demon Lord causing the world to become more and more craptastic as he/she/it gets closer.

I'm hoping that someone here has tried it, and can offer their insights on how well it works. Or doesn't work.

Oh, or comically-racist-caricature pokemon, there's multiple of those.

This pokemon derail is fun.
Jynx? Tangela? Mr. Mime?

What bothers me is stuff like the Magikarp/Dragonite vs. Dratini/Dragonair/Gyarados weirdness... And Togepi. Togepi can eat a bag of egg dicks.

Never got into any gens beyond 1st, so it's still just 151 pokes for me. I don't care about your Dead-Child-O-Lantern or however many increasingly edgelord eeveelutions get added.
Of all the things you just said that makes no sense, this makes the most non-sense. Eeveelutions hit their edgiest with Umbreon (which isn't saying much) and have only gotten less edgy since then. Just look up Sylveon sometime.

Is that a fucking sand castle pokemon

Is this what pokemon has become
You're right, let's go back to the days when we had the pokeball pokemon and the upside-down pokeball pokemon. Not to mention the literal piles of sludge. Or the pokemon that evolved into triplets of themselves!

Heal Anne. Again. Guard her this time.

Keyleth watched wild mild irritation as the mages vaporized her opponent. Well, he might not have been a match for her, but she still would have preferred the satisfaction of a duel to the finish with him. Oh well.

(14,12), mount up.

1587
: "Yeah yeah, settle down. I'm not gonna go running off with your paper." The mage was momentarily intrigued by Astera's mention of their "world", but she had more important things to think about. Such as the document.

Truth be told, it did look rather authentic. Not that she was much of an expert on the subject of course, but it was clearly quite old and the writing was in a style she never saw outside of Kizamo's oldest libraries. Sometimes growing up in a city of education and magic had its perks.

Jasmine weighed her options. Her "weekend" has just started, and she had no plans other than tidying up her modest home until she went back to work in a couple of days. She could follow this crazy bunch around and get a better idea of whether this was worth getting involved in. If it was, she would have a fair shot at ancient treasure and knowledge. If it was bogus, she'd know soon enough and have a crazy story to tell her fellows back at the airshipyard. She decided to make the jump.

: "Well...this does look pretty interesting. I guess you can count me in. Luckily I always carry a tome for self-defense." Jazz returned the paper to Astera and crammed the last bit of beef sandwich in her mouth. Time to get moving, she guessed.

1588
: "Go back to the part where people are killing each other over a possible archeological site, because that seems like one hell of an overreaction to me. For all anyone knows this 'treasure' is nothing more than the ruins of a few buildings and a collection of old coins. Interesting, sure, but nothing worth murdering for. What's really going on here?"

1589
Jasmine held up her hands in a "calm thyself" gesture, facing the weirdo in the mask.

: "Sloooow down, pal. I haven't agreed to anything yet. Besides, I'm not a fighter. I can do magic, sure, but I work with ships. Not bandits or monsters."

Even if it was, I'm pretty sure the Larva can't break without a player attacking it. This sounds like one major glitch, and I recommend generating a new world to see if it happens again.
