It irritates me somewhat when people who show up hours after I do leave an hour before I do. Like is the case today when I am literally the only one out of 10+ drivers still waiting for his load when I was the third to arrive.
It's hard to maintain good work ethics when folks who show up late still get home before you do some days.

: "Well, you were correct; I am not a soldier. I was hired as a mercenary - somewhat accidentally, I'm afraid - just a week ago. I don't really know what's going on at the capital...but my understanding is that Princess Elvira has been doing this sort of thing several times now and there had never been any fighting before today. Perhaps we were just along to humor her."
She does her best to get an estimate of the damages from the Innkeeper.

Oh wow. FOX News in on TV at this truck stop. I'm not really watching, just eating, but from what I heard...
Is this normal for them? A story about a bunch of Satanists holding a ceremony got the following (paraphrased) comments from the on-screen pundits:
"If this were just an exercise in First Amendment rights, they should go all the way and burn Korans!"
"This is just bigotry against Christians! They are perverting Christian worship and have been doing so for hundreds of years!"
"This is an outrage!"
I guess those jokes about this network aren't all that exaggerated ._.
