Tempted to make a pegasus knight -> falcoknight character, just because it seems like every pegasus we've had so far goes valkyrie instead. Plus, you know, flying mounted units are crazy useful.

It's a bit hard to describe, sadly. Like, I'll often leave enemies alive on one side while I focus on the other side...but not always? The reason is that time slows down a bit if enemies are in both zones, so if you concentrate on pummeling one half of the screen into dust it will give you slightly more reaction time. This is especially useful if there are several dodging enemies.
Also, when enemies throw weapons at you, try to wait until the last second to attack the weapons. That seems to result in a catch more often, but that might just be coincidence.
Time to stop killing stickmen for the night, I think.

Is Anima Magic forbidden?

No, but it is subject to a great deal of scrutiny due to the reliance on nature spirits. Light magic users must be vetted by the local religions. Staff magic has the fewest restrictions, but that's because unlike the other fields a staff-user is pretty much useless without one.

Dark Magic is officially forbidden. Unofficially, the Inquisition has a few shamans and other dark users on call on the provision that they behave themselves.

Obey orders and don't lose your mind, basically. Demons, monsters, and undead will be real things in my FEF and Dark Magic users that go off the deep end tend to attract them.

I thought we determined some time ago that Miguella was gonna hang out by the lever due to selflessness and definitely not an entirely sensible aversion to the Platforms of Death.

Candy volunteered to stay and pull the lever, so that shouldn't be a problem. Not like he can dance for us at the moment anyway.
