Though it helps them kill more crew/deal more damage to subsystems, right? Since longer + boost?

Which is why I upgraded it. A mind-controlled fully-boosted mantis can rip enemy crew to shreds, especially if the other crew members are engi or zoltan.

For Gaming related YouTubers I mostly watch TotalBiscuit, Jesse Cox, and Scott Manley. Then a few of the Normal Boots guys (mostly ProJared and PenutButterGamer). Everything else is things like SciShow and Numberphile.

Definitely not a fan of PewDiePie. My little sister watches him, and he's...gotten better. I'll give him that, maybe it's just a case that he doesn't whore himself out as much any more and is doing more things he actually may enjoy (from what I've been told he seems to genuinely like and want to play Dark Souls 2). Still unbearable though, so that doesn't count for much.

I kinda prefer kurtjmac to Scott Manley, but other than that my gaming videos are pretty much the same. NerdCubed also tends to be hilarious.

Also, he calls himself a "nice guy," which just makes me think of men's rights activists, who are all potential rapists anyway. So it's not doing him any favors.

When you say it makes it harder, do you mean because they have to break through the doors or does it actually take them longer to get the repairs done?

Also, in the middle of a Zoltan B run. Have loads of scrap, the two ion blasts and pike beam, also picked up and am using a fire bomb. Now I get a Flak II. Should I use it, and if so what should I replace with it?

Finally got to fire up FTL again since the new update. Was pleasantly surprised to discover that not only was my old data saved, but I had the Lanius cruiser at the start! So I decided to try it out.

First jump: Enemy ship with missile and heavy laser. Got wrecked.
Second jump: Enemy ship with twin heavy lasers. Got wrecked.
Third jump: Enemy ship with twin heavy lasers. By this time I had figured out that hacking apparently did not affect weapons much if at all, and gave up on that strategy. Still got wrecked but not as bad.

How the heck do you play this ship? Weapons take a long time to charge, you have virtually no evasion at start, and hacking seems situational at best. Or did I just get an unlucky run? I was below half hull before I even reached the first beacon.

And how do you unlock C layouts?
