Why do I bother showing up on time when, on days like today, I will be waiting 5+ hours for my next load to show up?

I have 190 miles to drive to get here. The other guy almost that far. Yet today I show up and, according to my dispatcher, the other guy hadn't even left yet. I've been here 3 hours now! My clock is ticking down and I still have to drive back!
Aaaaaaaargh

Did...did they actually make non-Gym-Leader trainers somewhat intelligent now?
Sent Shedinja out against a Battle Girl's Throh. She immediately switches to a Hawluchen with Aerial Ace. I have never seen that happen before.

I honestly don't get how anyone could not find spiders incredibly disturbing. Those spindly legs and beady eyes and stubby fangs and the way they flip over and curl up when they die...
I once tried to drown a spider I found in the sink and when I drained the water it held on to the edge of the basin and made the most unnatural, demonic shriek I have ever heard a living thing make. Besides goats, of course.
You sure that wasn't you, when you found out the spider was still alive?

@ Alleecat's sad: I feel the same way about bees. Even the honeybees who can't do me any harm. Can't go near em, please get rid of them for me D:
I guess bees don't really scare me because I was always taught that if you don't disturb them, they won't hurt you. Plus it helps I'm not allergic.
I've had enough spider bites to know that spiders will not mind their own business, though.

I was going to go to sleep, but then I found a spider near where I sleep and sucked it up with a vacuum and now I'm scared there are more.
Don't be scared of spiders, they are cute and eat annoying flying things. I honestly wish I could encourage more spiders to take up residence in and around my home. Summer is an incredibly uncomfortable time, crane flies are stupid, loud, and hard to make dead. Spiders fix that problem by trapping and eating them.
I don't know what that link is, but I do not open links in spider discussions on principle.
I was taught the same thing, but it doesn't help. I see a bee outside my truck, I keep all the windows closed and try not to make any noise until it goes away :/
Spiders don't really scare me at all, so I don't get it.

@ Tiruin's sad: I'm no expert on the subject, but I believe it is simple territorial instinct. An outsider to "your" people represents potential competition for food, mates, resources, whathaveyou. Doesn't make much sense in the modern day world but those old primal instincts can be difficult to get rid of.

Holy cow so many ninjas. Seven times.

I am astounded and utterly appalled that there is no Star Wars dogfight simulator. With online multiplayer and full flight stick support. Even if it were essentially a mod for that Il-2 game. I want to shoot down TIE fighters, dammit.
Yes, there's the old Rogue Squadron games for the consoles, but it's high time for a solid PC game.
Battlefront 2 has spacebattles.
Which are fun, but not what I'm wishing for. Battlefront 2 is really arcadey; damage you take doesn't actually affect you in any way until you explode. I want something more hardcore, where a blaster cannon can get shot off or an engine can get knocked offline. If a fighter has an astromech droid, I want to be able to manually command it to try and fix certain things. Stuff like that.

If we weren't in a moratorium of paddling, I'd sooo call for a paddling right now.
Slap your sister on the back of the head. Trust me It's a great idea.
Clearly the best solution is to paddle Blaze's sister.

DEF, RES, and SPD. I'll probably max out at least one of those before I even get a Guiding Ring :P
