After that, try keeping one hand just underneath blade. Should be more of a punch than anything else. As practice, keep track of how you must change distance to dummy with the different stances."

This was where axe-work got its subtlety. A sword was quick and precise, true, but with only a short hilt you were limited to fighting at a certain distance. A skilled axe fighter could quickly adjust to his or her advantage.

Ursa either missed the blushed or thought it was just from exertion, because he didn't comment on it. Probably the smart thing to do.

: "Good hit. Try adjusting grip between swings, see how that changes speed of swing and how well can control it. And if arms feel tired, take a break. Don't want to lose grip and throw axe away. Ursa learned that the hard way, took most of day to find again."

: "Just saying that they could have stayed and been taken prisoner instead, and they could have been released once we made port. Or we could have dropped them off on some island. But they went and made their choice, so no point in worrying about it now."

Gordon stepped away from the railing and went around treating the party's wounds.

: "Three battles in one day...if we keep up this sort of pace we'll probably depopulate half of Rundum by the time we reach the Gates."

: "Aye, but we wouldn't kill them if they surrendered."

Gordon looked over the side of the ship at the splashing pirates.

: "...Why would they do that? There's no way they can swim ta shore."

You won't be able to actually load it onto a cart (b/c programming & 72 hours), but... it's basically a gameboy game.  It's being done with gameboy specs.

Could...could one load up a gameboy emulator to play it? :O
