I've already checked all the bookstores within a two hour radius.   None of them have any books that are about the Imperial Guard, only space marines.    And I still can't drive by myself, so I can't go out to any places further then that which might have them.   
I went ahead and took the risk of ordering them used.     Hopefully they won't miss any pages, or reek of spilled coffee.   

Well, that sucks. Dan Abnett writes the best 40k fiction (the guy who writes Cain is a very close second).

((What I mean is that my sorcerer seems to end up within easy attack range more often than not. I was expecting him to spend more time hiding behind the tanky units, but on maps like these and the first shadow beast fight that didn't happen.
Come to think of it, I'm not even sure where his mount came from. Back in town I said he'd be riding the cart.))

I meant more about now, we could use some defense bypass.
And duke knight starts as cavalier, which can be our sword unit.

Oh yeah. That's a good plan, and we do need a mounted unit rather badly.

((Have used my second wind, no potions. I wasn't expecting my squishy sorcerer to constantly wind up in melee range :p ))
