Griff chuckled at Efa's reaction.
: "Don't worry, Sheldon's a good guy. He'll tease ya a bit but he knows when to lay off." With a grin, he amended: "Usually. Sometimes he and Leona will bicker like an old married couple."

« on: March 09, 2014, 09:40:05 pm »An FPS roguelike with Doom-style 2.5d graphics, weapon upgrades, inventory items as complex and interconnected as Nethack's, and a lot of "side things". I'm not even sure what I mean by "side things". I guess things like Nethack has, what with fountains and alignment and luck and all that.Have you tried Paranautical?

((We do have an OOC thread, people. Try to keep idle conversation about feats and such there.))

: "Lesan has a point. Most knights are taught ta fight defensively, letting their enemies come to them an letting their armor do most of the work for them. With proper training, heavy armor is no real impediment...so long as ye have the right build for it, of course."The priest, who moved easily despite wearing nearly as much armor as Lycan, seemed to have some idea of what he was talking about.

((That's because the note hasn't been posted yet. Better hold off in case some skill checks are required before we level.))

General Discussion / Re: Things that made you go "WTF?" today o_O
« on: March 09, 2014, 08:44:23 pm »That's pretty odd, yeah. Well, if it only started being a problem since you got the controller then I'm sure its not you. Maybe the stick or whatever you use to steer is misaligned. What sort of problem are you having, exactly?
I'm not sure how to describe it. It feels like no matter what I'm doing the trailer straightens itself out or begins to jackknife. I've always heard that you supposedly "Drive towards the problem" when backing up but for some reason that's not helping anymore.

« on: March 09, 2014, 08:15:48 pm »So I've been playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 with my newly configured PS3 controller, and so far it's great. I can drive exactly how I want and I feel much more comfortable driving in pretty much all conditions. And with analog controls for the throttle I can happily stay in my optimum RPM range so I pull and burn fuel most efficiently. Most importantly I stopped accidentally stalling by going in reverse because of hills and being in forward gears. What sort of problem are you having, exactly?
... Only somehow backing up the trailer has become utterly confusing. I can't seem to do ANYTHING right with it anymore. The trailer feels like some kind of sentient beast trying to make everything go wrong at the last moment.
I need to find out what I'm doing wrong now. Bluh.
