@ FFS: So I'm wondering if Candy's ever gonna restore his fairy powers. Or does this genderswap'd mission have something to do with that?

...Caught red-handed :c
Whoops.
...Imma keep idle speculation to myself from now on :<

Oh Anja, how I missed you during Ch 11.

Gordon moves to (1,9) and heals Garret (with the normal Heal staff).

: "Let's try this again, eh?"

17689
I was leaving the question open for people to offer their reasonings one way or another :p

Wow, Anja's certainly...eager to have kids. :P

: "Eheheh...sorry about that."

: "I can try somethin'!"
Griff moves to [square next to Fezzina] and pinches Fezzina!

The problem was more people ignoring plans, and then the rest changing the plan on the fly to bail out whoever ignored it. Like me.

Realistically, retreating would just put us in the same position we're in now; a horde of enemies pressing the front lines and PCs getting hurt. And since the cannons seem to be on the Terranian's side, I doubt they'd fire on the enemy units so there's no point in trying to "lure them" into the cannon's range.

So...my narrow vote is for trying to thin out the horde, unless someone can offer a compelling argument to move north.

: "N-naw, it's all granny. Y'all should hear her stories, she's got a thousand of 'em. But fer some reason, most folk laugh at 'em and say she's crazy. I don't get it."

I'll do whatever Soly and SC want to do in this situation. We just need a plan :/

17696
: "Sheesh, yer grandmas didn't tell ya about anything. Octogoblins are these green critters with tentacles on their faces. Accordin' to granny, they can curse folks into doin' stuff like stubbing toes and forgettin' their wife's birthday. They're the more mischivous cousins of hobgoblins, which are invisible except in firelight and eat dreams."

17697
: "Ain't got a clue. Maybe an octogoblin put a curse on us?"

17698
: "Well heck, got me too. Is this just somethin' that happens to you city-slickers?"

Life Advice / Shopping for a gaming laptop
« on: March 08, 2014, 04:25:04 pm »
Hello good residents of Bay 12! My current laptop is horribly insufficient for...just about most games, really. The utter lack of a decent dedicated graphics card is the primary obstacle to playing things; more than one game fails to read a DirectX-capable card and shuts down immediately.

SO! I'm looking for a laptop which would be capable of running modern games at a reasonable quality level. However, I would also like it to be capable of running games like DF (which can only use the one processor), and I'm not sure if it would be possible to fill both goals at the same time. Budget is somewhere less than $1,000 at the moment, but that should be enough to outperform what I have now.
Spoiler: Current specs (click to show/hide)

As a final note: Smartass comments about getting a desktop instead are not welcome. I travel a lot and desktops are not practical.
