That sounds like it'd take a while to load.

Not only that, but you would have to scroll all the way down every time you wanted to see

... You know if you click the "New" button next to a thread, either from the forum-boards or from updated topics, it sends you directly to the newest post, right? >____>

Actually, it takes you to the oldest unread post. So if you go to bed and, say, 20 people posted while you slept, clicking the New button would bring you to the first of those 20 posts.
