Keyleth actually dashes over to (6,9) and throws a couple of javelins at Fighter E!

Sam was pretty certain that they were going to die here, hemmed up in a small room with most of an army bearing down on them. Hopefully Martyn and the others would manage to find an exit and keep up the good fight.

Still, she wasn't going to die begging for mercy. She was going to do her best to piss off that Inquisitor before the end.

Confession time: I could not get into the Dark Tower series. I tried, several times. I think I made it halfway through the second book before chucking it aside in favor of just about anything else.

Is that the original or de-abridged version?
Only 50 hours? Must be the original.
Unabridged, sorry to disappoint you. I imagine the original must be somewhere in the ballpark of 30 hours, but I really have no idea.

...I didn't know there were dogs on the moon...

I gotta ask what typo I made that inspired this comment

M-O-O-N! That spells 'nah you didn't do anything I just looked at his location on his account page and it said "the dark side of the moon"'!
I spy with my little eye a muthafukin The Stand reference.
Which is great because I'm going through the (nearly 50-hour-long) audiobook right now.

I tried adventure mode. It crashed pretty quickly.

Then again this modded version of DF is really hard on my computer in general, so maybe I just ran into something it couldn't handle.

I'm slightly peeved myself; I picked up Rimworld during the Summer sale just last month, full price.

On the other hand it's been a lot of fun so far and I haven't even started getting into modding, so...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

General Discussion / Re: Things that made you sad today thread.

Well, if you could do it as many times as you please, there wouldn't really be an issue with it in that regard. Besides the flagrant waste of expensive replacement bodies. And the cleanup. And probably going mad from repeated deaths, now that I think about it. Hmm, when I write it all out like that it really seems like it's still not the best idea.

Should we ever invent anything in the vein of full dive virtual immersion, where we can basically put ourselves into a Matrix-style world, then we can kill ourselves all we want, over and over, hundreds of times a second. You can live out your own Groundhog Day and try to escape from it through every form of suicide possible, all in the comfort of your own home.

I mean, I don't know why you'd want to do that, but we live in a world where voluntary amputation is real, so some people's minds are incomprehensible.
I don't know why you would specifically cite a setting where dying in the simulation kills you in real life. You couldn't come up with a better example?

Not from what I can see, no. Mousewheel works, but not the commands. It's weird.

1813
Unfortunately the dfhack command doesn't appear to do anything. I can see TWBT starting up and changing the title screen from various icons to text, but
Code: [Select]
twbt tilesize 24 24
doesn't cause any sort of reaction. There isn't even an error message.

1814
Does the latest version of the download not include the 24x24 and 16x16 versions of the tilesets anymore? The default size goes quite a way off my monitor on both sides, but I can't seem to find the "Extra Tilesets" folder mentioned in the readme anywhere.

I also tried using that DFhack command in the OP, but nothing changes.
