Gordon arrived just as Vandertz was stumbling through some sort of conversation about compliments.

: "Ahem. I hate ta interupt, but I have some disturbing news. I overheard some priests discussing Mernid..."

: "...and supposedly there is some sort of "demon priest" responsible. Talking ta people in their minds or something. Not sure how much of this is true, rumors are flying everywhere."

Seems like a pretty nasty nerf to me, since it would remove Gordon's ability to attack from a distance. I'm fine with being an ordinary Bishop mechanics-wise, I'm just gonna refer to him as a Paladin because it fits him and his build better :p

Gordon approaches one of the other priests and asks him/her what sort of rumors have been going around lately.

Gordon raised a bushy eyebrow at that. It was a rare person who would willingly spend any extended amount of time with him. Even the parishioners back home tended to avoid him outside of official business.

: "As ye wish. I simply plan ta see what this port has ta offer, so I suppose ye can come along."

With that, Gordon set off towards the markets to look around. Afterwards he looks for the local church of the Defender.

Maybe somewhere in the middle. He does bad things (presumably pirate-related things) because he has convinced himself that they are the right things to do - regardless of whether they are or not.

Dunno if you've watched Avatar: The Last Airbender, but I'm personally imagining a situation like Jet: his desire to see the invaders driven out is so strong that he's willing to wipe out an unaffiliated village in order to do it, seeing the village as a necessary sacrifice.

I only have 8 trope pages open at the moment, and none of them are "loaded". I wonder if maybe its time to shut down and let all the tabs reset :I

@ Frumple: I use AdBlock, so no ads of any kind. Well, except on the LP Archive but I don't have any open tabs there.

Are you using Firefox? If you had a ton of tabs open at one point, it'll still be using the same amount of memory it needed then. Try closing and reopening it.
