Maybe, but the grenades are usually only equipped when they're ready to toss. Same with flares. Besides, laser weapons are accurate enough that they don't seem all that badly affected.

Eh? The only one with two two-handed weapons was Vector, and that was only because he picked up Redshirt's stun stick after he died. Everyone else either wields a single two-handed weapon (plus often a smoke grenade or flare) or pistol-and-stun-stick.

Don't worry, as time goes on you start to make fewer mistakes.

Of course, no force in heaven or Earth will prevent mistakes entirely, and sometimes you'll simply get screwed over by the whims of the RNG. That's just how FEF rolls :P

Mounted units are indeed pretty helpful. If you want a physical close-up attacker, a Cavalier (aka Social Knight) is a solid choice.
